Day One Hundred Thirty Two: Can't Live Without | Need | Important | Necessary
It goes without saying that the most important things in my life that I can't live without is the presence of God first and foremost, my husband, my children, and all of our family and friends. One other thing that came to mind today was books. Where would we be without books? Not only are they used to teach us history and facts, but they are also important to bring us to worlds unknown and they allow our imaginations to soar. However, when I was taking a photo of a book ~ I noticed those little scratches on my hand from a play fight with my cat. And just like that ~ my subject and my focus changed because I CANNOT live without my hands! Hands that have such a story to tell with all they do, all they have felt, all they have held. Yeah, I can't live without my hands.

Day One Hundred Thirty One: Wearable | Fabric | Embroidery | Buttons
Clothing Details... I love a pair of comfy jeans! These have such awesome embroidery on the back pockets that I knew this pair was going to be used today. And with a photo by my pink rose bush and I am pleasantly happy with how bright and nice this photo came out - even though we have had a pretty cold and rainy day which is supposed to continue into tomorrow night. Day One Hundred Thirty: Fastened | Closed | Locked | Connected
Man was I so uninspired today! I wracked my brain and looked and looked for something that would stand out for me with the color of the week (denim blue) and nothing was coming to me. It wasn't until I went into my garage this evening after baseball practice to get my camera from my truck that I looked up and saw these happy people who sit on a couple of shelves. These used to live in Arizona at my grandparent's house where they decorated the wall that was a partition between the neighbor's yard. They made their way all the way to MN when my grandparents passed in 2011 and they have happily sat on those shelves until tonight when I brought them outside to capture this photo. I love how their accessories are fastened to their bodies. And their legs just nicely dangle down as they sit comfortably on any ledge they may be put on. I don't think I'll ever part with these. Day One Hundred Twenty Nine: Denim Blue | Denim | Jeans | Mother's Day
Happy Mother's Day! I was spoiled very much today with the most thoughtful presents from each of my babies! I will treasure these gifts forever! (And yes, we are a denim jean wearing family). Day One Hundred Twenty Eight: Love | Adore | Treasure | Crazy About
My hubby is 6'1" and I'm 5'4" so it's a common thing to see me on my tippy toes to give him a smooch... Or you may see me stepping on his boots (lucky for him they are steel toe) to grab one too. When I step on his feet then he doesn't have to bend down ~ but I still have to reach up on my tippy toes to put us level. He has never minded me stepping on his toes ~ he's a great guy like that. A happy surprise for today's photo was seeing my dog right there in the picture after we were done with all that smooching. She is NEVER far from my side so I shouldn't have been surprised to see her here. She is also very dear to me and I treasure her too!
Day One Hundred Twenty Six: An Athlete | Active | Move | Healthy I am doing my best to be move active every day and get my heart pumping. So, I started walking about a month ago with my neighbor in the mornings. I didn't look at today's prompt until after we had already done our walk so I decided to use my other favorite activity - Yoga. My daughter has been asking me here and there to do this with me so I thought it would be a nice time to get outside for a bit and enjoy this beautiful day and do just that with her. She didn't last very long but I had a nice 30 minute practice with the birds chirping around me. I have to take advantage of this before the mosquitoes come out in full force. Day One Hundred Twenty Five: Whimsical | Imaginative | Quirky | Playful
Just spreading a little whimsical magic from my hands today. :)

This is the second time I have taken on this challenge. I completed a 365 in 2014 - took 2015 off and decided that this year I wanted to do another challenge. I am part of an amazing group of talented photographers who post an image from an interpretation of a prompt that we receive every day in our e-mail. It's so neat to see how differently a person perceives a simple word or concept and how they translate that into a photograph. I am kicking myself that I didn't do a challenge in 2015 so this is me getting back into doing something I enjoy so very much! Archives
