Day Three Hundred Five: Carved | Sculpted | Cut | Goopy
Our hard work last night paid off! They were a messy, goopy mess while we worked but we all sculpted and cut and made each pumpkin our own. Gavin made the cross, Evette has the angel, Blake made the shark, Mike made the face in the small pumpkin, and I carved out the silly face in the bigger pumpkin.

Day Three Hundred Three:
Unexpected | Surprising | Eye-Opening | Wonderful Today was just an all around wonderful day... I got to do a photo shoot for an awesome grad this morning ~ then we all went to a Halloween party at a friend's house. After all that fun stuff, we took an unexpected evening wheeler ride. We all bundled up nice and warm and had a great time exploring. Even traveling the same trails we usually do, they all look so different now that the leaves have fallen. It's always so surprising how quickly the trees lose their beautiful foliage but it's wonderful to know that it will all start again next Spring after surviving the snow and cold months fast approaching!
Day Three Hundred: Make it Whole | Two Halves | Complete | Diptych
(THREE HUNDRED!!! Wow! Only 66 more days in this year! I can't believe it - and I still haven't missed one day)!! When we woke up to deep puddles from a night of heavy rain, the circles caught my eye. The munchkins were excited to grab their umbrellas to wait for the bus, and then it hit me - this is a perfect diptych today - it tells the story of a rainy morning (circles included) and three happy babies who enjoyed a chilly morning playing in the rain before the bus came to carry them to another school day.
Day Two Hundred Ninety Eight: Measure | Baking | Nested | Volume
As a mom, it's important for me to make sure to measure out the correct volume of the right stuff... the right amount of nutrition ~ the right amount of fun ~ the right amount of discipline ~ the right amount of love... (Circles week) Day Two Hundred Ninety Six: After Dark | Low Light | Creepy | ‘Tis The Season
We love these beautiful fall nights where we can enjoy a nice fire in the crisp, cool air. (The creepy part of this prompt even fits because it's a nickname I have for my hubby ~ lol)!! |
Danette Badger
This is the second time I have taken on this challenge. I completed a 365 in 2014 - took 2015 off and decided that this year I wanted to do another challenge. I am part of an amazing group of talented photographers who post an image from an interpretation of a prompt that we receive every day in our e-mail. It's so neat to see how differently a person perceives a simple word or concept and how they translate that into a photograph. I am kicking myself that I didn't do a challenge in 2015 so this is me getting back into doing something I enjoy so very much! Archives
