Day One Hundred Fifty Two: Reminder | A Note | Nudge | Cue
My 'smart' phone has succeeded in making me dumb... Truly... Since I have had one of these things I make sure to have a variety of dings, rings, bells, chimes, etc. to tell me what is going to happen next in my life. During the school months I had 7 alarms saved to alert me to drop kids off, pick kids up, pick up from church on Wednesdays, time for dance or basketball or baseball or guitar lessons or chess club... EEK!! Without this thing I forget what's next and where I have to be! I also have this handy reminder to let me know that I haven't posted my photo of the day. Some days I beat the alarm, and other days, like today, my phone reminds me. It's a useful tool when I am so engrossed in work or some other project and I just don't pay attention to the time.

Day One Hundred Fifty One: Motivational | With A Quote | More Words | Caption
It was another beautiful day to enjoy the wheelers and I had the joy of riding with two of my munchkins who were finding shapes in the clouds. My favorite description was from my daughter who said, "That looks like a turtle, wearing a dress! It's skating and it's holding a bird!" Wow! I don't remember seeing so much detail in clouds like that when I was a kid... I couldn't get a photo of that specific cloud because I was driving bit I will never forget that! Day One Hundred Fifty: Words | On A Wall | Vintage | On The Street
I showed my hubby today's prompt so after church we rode around and he pointed out words all over the place (which I never really noticed before if I am being honest)... This was my favorite. Day One Hundred Forty Nine: Out A Window | View | Scene | Observe
We enjoy our wheelers rain or shine... Especially when we just got a new one to enjoy. We are on our way to visit grandma and grandpa to show them our new toy ~ a Polaris Ranger.

(me) "HONEY! I can't figure out what to use for my photo today..." (hubby) (after I gave him my phone to read the prompt) "How about I set up something with my reloading supplies and bullets?" (me) "Great idea!" So, this is what he set up for me and then he helped decide what edits to use. Photo of the day is done! Thanks hubby! One Hundred Forty Four: A Wall
I have been having a blast this year so far watching my boys at baseball practice this Spring. They got their shirts for this season and Gavin chose #1 and Blake chose #2. Tonight was a little iffy about whether practice would happen due to a heavy threat of rain but we were lucky - even if we were listening to the thunder that this dark wall of clouds were sharing. All of these boys are pretty hardcore and would practice either way I think. Day One Hundred Forty Three: Fill the Frame | Everything | Whole | Abstract
My children LOVE to draw on my garage floor with their chalk. I love seeing their creativeness when they ask me to move my truck out of the garage to make their drawings. I see messages like "I love you" and "you make me happy" and I also see lots of hearts, rainbows, happy faces, balloons, and stars on my garage floor. Then, as I drive over these happy pictures and they fade, my kids will repeate these for me once again so I am greeted by a colorful modgpodge of those happy images. They keep their chalk in a box that sits by the wall ready for their next masterpiece. |

This is the second time I have taken on this challenge. I completed a 365 in 2014 - took 2015 off and decided that this year I wanted to do another challenge. I am part of an amazing group of talented photographers who post an image from an interpretation of a prompt that we receive every day in our e-mail. It's so neat to see how differently a person perceives a simple word or concept and how they translate that into a photograph. I am kicking myself that I didn't do a challenge in 2015 so this is me getting back into doing something I enjoy so very much! Archives
