Day Two Hundred Six: Reflections | Mirrored | Observation | Half
Once again, today's prompt fell into my lap quite nicely... We are still out camping and we have been enjoying the sandy bottomed pool that is within the park. It's the perfect way to cool down after hiking through the fields and working up a sweat. The two munchkins on the bottom are twins and the two on the top are twins. Brothers - mirrored - reflections. As far as my boys go (the two on the top) they complete each other - they are the half of what the other one needs. It's amazing to witness! And I suppose both sets of boys see a mirror when they look at each other. Day Two Hundred Five: In A Field | Grassland | Range | Meadow
I couldn't believe my luck with this prompt! We met up with our very dear friends for the weekend and stayed at Buffalo River State Park. When researching the park a little bit the first two sentences on their website advertise this: "Prairie lovers, this park is for you. Trails wind through one of Minnesota's finest and largest remnant prairies." So, with the addition of these five beautiful munchkins on this huge rock in the middle of this field ~ it turned out to be perfect for this field trip sort of prompt especially since we drove 2 hours from home to explore this new camping spot. It's one we will definitely come back to! Day Two Hundred Four: Bold | Daring | Standout | Striking
I am the sort of mother who attends ALL practices for ALL sports and activities. This year, while my daughter attended her gymnastics practices, I dropped her off and went back home to work for a bit (a perk from living so close to the school where gymnastics was held this summer). I knew that they would have a program on their last day and for once, I wanted to enjoy seeing the skills she learned at the program. She never fails to impress me with how bold, daring, and striking she is. She had fun with this program and she will continue to go back year after year. (Here she is posing on the balance beam during her routine). |

This is the second time I have taken on this challenge. I completed a 365 in 2014 - took 2015 off and decided that this year I wanted to do another challenge. I am part of an amazing group of talented photographers who post an image from an interpretation of a prompt that we receive every day in our e-mail. It's so neat to see how differently a person perceives a simple word or concept and how they translate that into a photograph. I am kicking myself that I didn't do a challenge in 2015 so this is me getting back into doing something I enjoy so very much! Archives
