Day One Hundred Eighty One: Little or Big | Small | Huge | Size
Even though one rose is well on its way to the end of its beautiful life, there are many buds ready to burst like the little one in the background. Day One Hundred Eighty: In The Kitchen | Helpers | Lego | Story
There will be no time for cooking today in my kitchen but I need to make sure to get the dishes washed. Our little Lego handyman made sure to inspect the entire machine before its use today just to make sure everything is in good working order. We did get the thumbs up and we should expect to come home to squeaky clean dishes after our baseball game tonight. Day One Hundred Seventy Nine: Ruler | Measurement | Inches | Centimeters
More and more lately, my boys are making me aware that they are not far from reaching my height. It shows when they slip their foot in my sandal and they have just a short way to go to completely fill them out. It shows when they hold their hands up to mine to see if their fingers finally reach the top of mine. It shows when they stand next to me and I barely have to bend to kiss their foreheads. My twin boys aren't even 10 years old yet but they are growing so much faster than I would like. Blake helped me out today to get this shot. This ruler is actually the ruler that was used to measure his baby sister when she was born (I cannot find my boys' rulers). A mere 18 inches long when he was born and already he is almost as big as I am! Oh how I wish I could slow it down - but I am so grateful that all my children are growing happy and healthy!
Day One Hundred Seventy Seven: Round | Bump | Curve | Arch
My hubby and the boys went camping today at the deer shack so it's just me and my baby girl until tomorrow. We decided to stay cool in this almost 90 degree weather by going on a wheeler ride. We saw a turtle, a baby beaver, a deer, and a blue heron on our adventure. During one of our stops (to enjoy watching the heron) Eve noticed this pretty flower. It sure seems to me that it fits the prompt. Day One Hundred Seventy Six: Point Of Focus | Position | Blur | Focus
I had to bring my babies to check out the huge dandelions that I found yesterday. They had a lot of fun blowing the seeds into the wind. This was one of my favorite photos when Gavin showed off how big this one was. "It's as big as my face Mommy!" Day One Hundred Seventy Five: Muted | Soften | Subdued | Toned Down
During my morning walk I caught sight of these gigantic dandelion flowers. I couldn't resist going back this evening to play with them. Day One Hundred Seventy Four:
Opportunity | Daytime | Chance | Moment I waited for this moment today... I knew that once my hubby got home from bringing our baby girl to t-ball and the boys to the park to play, my furry baby would let me know when they got back by jumping on the back of the couch and loudly announcing their arrival. She didn't disappoint and posed very nicely for me. (This is the first t-ball/baseball event I have missed since May! I feel bad but when the camping stuff is still out all over the house from last weekend's camping trip mommy needed an empty house to straighten things out. Thankful my hubby brought them tonight). Day One Hundred Seventy Three: Elevated | Sunset (Sunrise) | Raised | Hike
I had all last week off from work and also took the week off from my morning walks. It was a nice break but I was ready to get back to my routine. Today it was just me and my furry baby... I couldn't resist putting her up on the hill with the beautiful sunrise we had this morning. |

This is the second time I have taken on this challenge. I completed a 365 in 2014 - took 2015 off and decided that this year I wanted to do another challenge. I am part of an amazing group of talented photographers who post an image from an interpretation of a prompt that we receive every day in our e-mail. It's so neat to see how differently a person perceives a simple word or concept and how they translate that into a photograph. I am kicking myself that I didn't do a challenge in 2015 so this is me getting back into doing something I enjoy so very much! Archives
