Day Three Hundred Thirty Two: Thankful For From Below | Underbelly | Underneath | Beneath
This bridge is for the trains that travel close to our home. When we first bought out home, we were worried about the noise from the trains, and now, we don't even notice them. In fact, I think I would miss the hum of the trains if we moved away. We love this creek. We walk down here in the summer and the kids enjoy splashing around in the water and throwing rocks. We cross this with our wheelers to get to the other side to enjoy the trails. I have taken many photos underneath this bridge and it's very unlikely that I will stop using this beautiful spot. Day Three Hundred Thirty One: Thankful For Looking Up | Skies Above | Weather | Clouds
Today my poor hubby had to work (which is extremely strange for him but they are very busy at work right now), so my munchkins and I loaded up a couple of the wheelers and went to my parents to play. It was a cloudy and foggy day for the most part. It wasn't until tonight after getting home that I realized that I didn't capture anything that followed today's prompt - which is ok of course - but I saw the icicles dripping off the eve of our roof and loved how mesmerizing all those drips and drops were. So, here it is. :)
Day Three Hundred Twenty Seven:
Thankful For On The Ground | Get Down | Down Low I will always be thankful for my furry baby who's always down low. I will miss the days when she isn't near my feet. Day Three Hundred Twenty Six:
Thankful For Underneath | Beneath | Covered | Bottom Our trees are heavily burdened still, after the blizzard we had last Friday. Walking my yard today I saw many branches broken! A sad sight but I can't deny the beauty of the snow. These branches are heavy enough to touch the ground. I had to crouch down low to capture these ~ that resulted in a cold rump! |
Danette Badger
This is the second time I have taken on this challenge. I completed a 365 in 2014 - took 2015 off and decided that this year I wanted to do another challenge. I am part of an amazing group of talented photographers who post an image from an interpretation of a prompt that we receive every day in our e-mail. It's so neat to see how differently a person perceives a simple word or concept and how they translate that into a photograph. I am kicking myself that I didn't do a challenge in 2015 so this is me getting back into doing something I enjoy so very much! Archives
