Day Ninety-Nine: Where I Stand | Perspective | Look Down | Step Back My neighbor and I started waking up an hour earlier than we normally do to take a walk. We do a mile and a half Monday-Friday. It's been such an enjoyable time for me. We visit about our faith, our husbands, our kids, our work, our life. (We even chat about our businesses. She is just getting out there promoting her business ~ Michelle Oie Speaking. She can now be found on FB and does have a full website: michelleoie.com. She is definitely worth checking out. She is a wonderful public speaker)! I have found that I even wake up before the alarm sounds. This is pretty profound for me considering how much of a morning person I am NOT so by voluntarily waking up MUCH earlier than I HAVE to ~ yeah ~ that's big! Not only do we get to enjoy an early morning visit ~ we are also being active which is also big in my world because my day job requires to much time on a chair. I am feeling good and can't wait to see some visible results too! I snapped this with my phone (which I hate taking photos with) this morning during a lovely snow storm. It was quite brisk at times but we have been committed to this and even bring our dogs to walk with us.

This is the second time I have taken on this challenge. I completed a 365 in 2014 - took 2015 off and decided that this year I wanted to do another challenge. I am part of an amazing group of talented photographers who post an image from an interpretation of a prompt that we receive every day in our e-mail. It's so neat to see how differently a person perceives a simple word or concept and how they translate that into a photograph. I am kicking myself that I didn't do a challenge in 2015 so this is me getting back into doing something I enjoy so very much! Archives
