Day One Hundred Seventeen: Retro | Nostalgic | Dated | Style
I can just imagine how awesome it would have been to walk around back in the late 70s with this bad boy! I asked a cousin of mine to keep an eye out at auctions for old cameras and she didn't disappoint with this one. I researched this camera and per polaroid.com/history this camera's debut was 1977. "This inexpensive, fixed-focus camera becomes the best-selling camera, instant or conventional, in the US." I am hoping to start a collection of old vintage cameras and this one is the first. So, if you have any laying around that you just don't want to keep space for - I'll gladly take them off your hands! :)

This is the second time I have taken on this challenge. I completed a 365 in 2014 - took 2015 off and decided that this year I wanted to do another challenge. I am part of an amazing group of talented photographers who post an image from an interpretation of a prompt that we receive every day in our e-mail. It's so neat to see how differently a person perceives a simple word or concept and how they translate that into a photograph. I am kicking myself that I didn't do a challenge in 2015 so this is me getting back into doing something I enjoy so very much! Archives
