Day Eighty-Six: Branches | From Below | Foliage | Weather
Our neck of the world is pretty dreary and lacking luster still and I just wasn't feeling up to getting outside in the chilly weather today to find something that stood out for a nice photo. Not to mention, I have been under the weather myself since Wednesday with a HORRIBLE cold so staying in sounded nice before our busy Easter day tomorrow. This pretty plant is one that I have had for almost 10 years. It's a spider plant that my mom started for me from her spider plant. She received a 'baby' from her mother's spider when she got married and in turn, gave a baby to me when I got married. It's the only plant that I have kept alive all these years. It goes out each spring when it gets warm enough and I bring it in each winter.

This is the second time I have taken on this challenge. I completed a 365 in 2014 - took 2015 off and decided that this year I wanted to do another challenge. I am part of an amazing group of talented photographers who post an image from an interpretation of a prompt that we receive every day in our e-mail. It's so neat to see how differently a person perceives a simple word or concept and how they translate that into a photograph. I am kicking myself that I didn't do a challenge in 2015 so this is me getting back into doing something I enjoy so very much! Archives
