Day Two Hundred Twenty Two: Jewelry | Treasure | Necklace | Costume
It's very rare to see me without my jewelry... In fact, the only time you'll see me without my rings is when I sleep. My necklace and earrings stay on 100% of the time unless I take them off for cleaning. Each piece of jewelry has a story ~ my left hand holds my wedding ring and a ring that my hubby bought me on our honeymoon. My right hand holds rings from a couple of people who are in heaven. My necklace is a gift from my brand new baby boys (it was presented to me in the hospital after having them 9 and a half years ago). We added their birthstones and their little sisters stone to it after. I may put on a special bracelet here and there but for the most part ~ this is what you will see on me.
Day Two Hundred Eighteen: B if For...
I may be stretching this idea today a bit but for me, today, B is For... Blueprint. That works right? A blueprint is a sort of map and that is what my hubby is pointing at here. We went on our annual adults only wheeler riding/camping weekend with some friends and we were in a new spot so this blueprint was a necessary thing for us to refer to. Especially so late at night. Day Two Hundred Seventeen:
Nature | Outside | Texture | Plants I can't resist using this photo even though I took it last night. The sunset that I got to enjoy last evening while driving home from my parent's house was breathtaking and I stopped about 10 times here and there to take a photo. Thank goodness I have such patient and understanding children because Gavin, who was with me, would even tell me to stop and turn around if I drove by a good spot for a nice photo. This is, once again, a cell shot ~ but like I said ~ I can't resist using it for today's prompt. Day Two Hundred Sixteen: A Collection | Assortment | Selection | Compilation
My munchkins spent the day with grandma and grandpa and while I was on my way to go pick them up, I was thinking about what I could use for my subject and I immediately thought of the blue glass collection that my parents have. These jars have held perfume and medicines. The assortment also includes vases, bottles, and candlesticks. I thought it fit nicely for today's prompt ~ even if I only had my phone to take the photo with.

This is the second time I have taken on this challenge. I completed a 365 in 2014 - took 2015 off and decided that this year I wanted to do another challenge. I am part of an amazing group of talented photographers who post an image from an interpretation of a prompt that we receive every day in our e-mail. It's so neat to see how differently a person perceives a simple word or concept and how they translate that into a photograph. I am kicking myself that I didn't do a challenge in 2015 so this is me getting back into doing something I enjoy so very much! Archives
