World Ranger Day ~ 213:2020
We are so grateful for the rangers who keep our parks and forests clean and safe! Rangers are responsible for protecting our state and national parks; the natural resources, ecosystems, and wildlife within them; and the people who visit them. I wasn’t sure what I was going to capture today but when we got home from trap shooting with the boys, Eve had a surprise for us! What a cute “werdo the bare” she made (weirdo the bear). She said this took a long time and I can see why. So creative she is! Ecclesiastes 2:5 I made gardens and parks and planted all kinds of fruit trees in them.

International Day of Friendship ~ 212:2020
I gave birth to built in best friends. These two have shared space since conception and they always gravitate towards each other. Such lucky young men. Philippians 2:20 I have no one else like him, who will show genuine concern for your welfare. Lipstick Day ~ PHONE ~ 211:2020
Driving back home (and back to reality) ~ just applying my favorite moisturizer after so much sun the last few days. 😎 Isaiah 59:21 As for me, this is my covenant with them,” says the Lord. “My Spirit, who is on you, will not depart from you, and my words that I have put in your mouth will always be on your lips, on the lips of your children and on the lips of their descendants—from this time on and forever,” says the Lord. Waterpark Day ~ 210:2020
We have been having a blast ~ just the four of us ~ and today our waterpark was the entire lake basically to ourselves. Here was our second attempt of getting us all jumping in off the pontoon and we wound up just getting all our butts in the photo but I love it. We had SO MUCH FUN TODAY! John 4:14 ...but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life. Love is Kind Day ~ 209:2020
Our dear friends invited us to come spend a few days with them at a cabin near their home. Ummm ~ OK! So we not only get to spend the time with our friends but we also get to take some time off of work ~ AND the kids are with grandparents or friends too! Win-win for us all! So here Missy and I are cuddled in our hubbies arms ~ truly surrounded by love. 1 Corinthians 13:7 Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. All or Nothing Day ~ 208:2020
The challenge today was to do a scavenger hunt and find these things: Begins with 'A' ~ Asian beetle A Flower ~ at my in-laws on their back deck. Your reflection ~ my brother calls me Pooh and wrote this on our chalkboard door the other day. My son grabbed my shoulders today and pushed me against the wall, said “stay there,” grabbed a piece of chalk and added the little arrow pointing at me. Then took this photo. Giggle! Something Round ~ my new fountain on my deck has lots of round shapes. The Sky ~ our neighbors across the street had to remove a LOT of dead trees from their property. I wasn’t able to see the sky from our front yard before and now we can! Colour Red ~ my rose bush is still blooming! With Wings ~ the cardinal print that we gave my husband’s parents for Christmas. They have it up all year in their bathroom. A Beverage ~ Eve pouring her orange juice this morning at breakfast. An Interesting Pattern ~ a curtain ~ also found in my in-laws bathroom. (We visited them today to drop off our munchkins until Wednesday so my hubby and I can go to a cabin with some friends). Colossians 3:14 And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Merry-Go-Round Day ~ 207:2020
This pretty little merry-go-round belongs to my mother in law. :) Ezekiel 1:20 Wherever the spirit would go, they would go, and the wheels would rise along with them, because the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels. Drive-Through Day ~ 206:2020
We finally decided to do something we have talked about for the last 10 years of owning our home ~ taking down part of the wall between our kitchen and living room. We did this much so far ~ made an opening dear our refrigerator which now allows traffic to move in a circle by going in one side and out the other ~ effectively creating our own "drive-through" kitchen. We have another large part of the wall to remove and then we get to finish it all up and make it nice again. I already love how open it feels! Ezekiel 8:8 He said to me, "Son of man, now dig into the wall." So I dug into the wall and saw a doorway there. Refreshment Day ~ COLOR ~ RED ~ 205:2020
Well I am somewhat on prompt because Luna wanted to much to get some refreshment from my fountain but she is just not quite tall enough to reach over the edge. Proverbs 11:25 A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed. Hammock Day ~ 204:2020
This isn't what I had in my head. I was trying so hard to capture some starbursts around my string of lights but with the extremely low light I couldn't stop myself from moving enough to capture a long exposure because it is incredible difficult getting on and off my swing ~ that I am using as my hammock today. Anyway, this one wound up being my favorite because my hubby just answered the phone and we were chatting with our dear friends who we are planning on doing a mini vacation with next week. Looking forward to that so much! This one being my favorite even though my face is covered with my win glass ~ but I love it because it's real. We sit out here a lot and tonight was especially nice! John 8:36 So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. |
Danette BadgerThis is the 6th year I have taken on this photography challenge! In 2015 I didn't follow a 365 project, unfortunately. So, from 1/1/14 to 12/31/19 I have taken 2,117 daily photos (beside my own personal photos) and plan to add another 366 for this year! Starting 1/1/20 I am no longer doing the project with Capture Your 365 as that group has ended as of 12/31/19 (after 8 years and 9 months of everyday photography). There were four lovely ladies who decided to keep this community alive for us all and created 365 Picture Today and they have decided to use the National Day Calendar for our prompts this year which should be so much fun! It's so neat to see how differently a person perceives a simple word or concept and how it's translated into a photograph. I enjoy this challenge very much and I am looking forward to seeing what 2020 brings! Archives
