Hot Chocolate Day ~ 031:2020
I don't usually like hot drinks but tonight we got a call that my sister-in-law was in a very bad accident. My hubby and I got to the hospital as quick as we could. I got a chill deep in my bones that wouldn't quit so I went to grab a hot chocolate from a gas station to warm up. It has worked wonders and this was especially tasty because it was MINT chocolate! (My sister-in-law is fine! Thank God)!!

Escape Day ~ 030:2020
I love how the world looks under a beautiful frost. It does make me want to escape from the mundane things and just watch how the world glistens so white and clean. Proverbs 11:21 "Be assured that the wicked will not go unpunished, but the offspring of the righteous will escape." Puzzle Day ~ 029:2020
I did it! I read the Bible in TWENTY-EIGHT days (finished last night)! It's been an adventure and I absolutely love that I challenged myself this way - seeing the whole "tree" versus just individual "leaves" has been amazing. This is an incredible TRUE story and I am so glad that I was thought of from the beginning and will be with HIM in the end. All the puzzle pieces that make up the story in between are such blessings ~ I am so happy to live this life! Genesis 1:1 In the beginning... Revelation 22:21 ...AMEN. International Lego Day ~ 028:2020
My babies have a very large space that they can spread their Legos out to their hearts content. They have three large tables where they have built amazing little villages and although there seems to be a lot of fallen bricks everywhere, there have been countless hours spent at these tables where they can rebuild and tear down and rebuild again. Isaiah 9:10 "The bricks have fallen, but we will rebuild with cut stones; the sycamores have been cut down, but we will replace them with cedars." Bubble Wrap Day ~ 027:2020
Believe it or not, these pretty dried up roses are in bubble wrap. I was so focused on them I lost sight of how the bubble wrap could have dressed them up even more but that's okay ~ I used Bubble Wrap and so I am on prompt! :) these beauties are my daughters ~ given to her after a dance show she had earlier this month. Psalms 109:19 Let it be like a robe he wraps around himself, like a belt he always wears. Green Juice Day ~ Spouse’s Day ~ 026:2020
Green Juice Day = resolutions = something I don’t do so I thought I would go with Spouse’s Day and showcase the beginning of a DELICIOUS steak meal that my hubby spoiled us with tonight from the grill! 1 Corinthians 7:3 The husband should fulfill his marital duty to his wife, and likewise the wife to her husband. Opposite Day ~ 025:2020
These birds are actually red and blue but I liked the black and white and thought they definitely show opposite much better this way! Genesis 7:3 ...and also seven pairs of every kind of bird, male and female (opposite), to keep their various kinds alive throughout the earth. Compliment Day ~ 024:2020
Truly!!!! James 1:17 Every generous act and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights; with Him there is no variation or shadow cast by turning. Handwriting Day ~ 023:2020
I have very elementary handwriting so I thought it would be nice to showcase my hubby’s fancy cursive handwriting ~ he did the lettering for this tattoo from 1 Corinthians 13 ~ Love Never Fails Galatians 6:11 Look at what large letters I use as I write to you in my own handwriting. Library Shelfie Day ~ 022:2020
I have been waiting for this prompt! On January first I decided that I would start reading my Bible on a daily basis and since I have never read the Bible in its entirety, I felt this was an important thing for me this year. I have an app on my phone (called Bible) that has plans you can follow to do things like this and at first I was all ready to do a plan that would 365 days but because I already have a 365 project, I decided that wasn't good enough. Then I found a plan that only takes THIRTY days and that's the one I chose! (Plan is called 30 Day Shred) Currently I am on Mark chapter 6 and I am actually 2 days ahead of schedule. I have been obsessed. The app has the option to have it read out loud in the specific version of Bible I have and without this option, I would be doomed. I don't know if you've noticed but this collection of Books is crazy difficult to read sometimes with the language and pronunciation and I always get frustrated when reading on my own because if I feel like I am reading something incorrectly, my brain just starts to skip things and I miss too much. So, this app reads to me as I follow along and like I said, I am obsessed! It takes almost 3 hours a day of reading but I haven't been able to put this down. I should be done in about 5 or 6 days and I can say that I have read the entire Bible! I am pretty proud of that fact. That large section is complete - I just have that smaller section left! 2 Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is inspired by God and is profitable for teaching, for rebuking, for correcting, for training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. |
Danette BadgerThis is the 6th year I have taken on this photography challenge! In 2015 I didn't follow a 365 project, unfortunately. So, from 1/1/14 to 12/31/19 I have taken 2,117 daily photos (beside my own personal photos) and plan to add another 366 for this year! Starting 1/1/20 I am no longer doing the project with Capture Your 365 as that group has ended as of 12/31/19 (after 8 years and 9 months of everyday photography). There were four lovely ladies who decided to keep this community alive for us all and created 365 Picture Today and they have decided to use the National Day Calendar for our prompts this year which should be so much fun! It's so neat to see how differently a person perceives a simple word or concept and how it's translated into a photograph. I enjoy this challenge very much and I am looking forward to seeing what 2020 brings! Archives
