31/365 ~ Take a Flower (or a bubble) | Textures | Layers | Still Life
I have been loving the bubble photos that my friends in the CY365 community have been sharing lately! So, finding myself without a flower to play with today, I decided to play with bubbles instead. My husband chose this one ~ he called it “enchanting.”

The beauty of this earth doesn’t seem to care that it’s so cold. We had a lovely sunset around 5:30 tonight at -20 degrees. Currently, at 9:30, it’s -34 and the kids get another cold day off of school tomorrow for the third day in a row this week. 29/365 ~ Entertainment | Amusement | Games | Play
We are off school today and tomorrow for “cold days” not “snow days.” Our high today is -16 F with a low of -33 F tonight. Tomorrow is -16 F and tomorrow night will be -36 F! The wind chill will put us in the 35 to 50 below temps today and tonight. Tomorrow we will see 45 to 60 degrees below zero! Eek! I had three happy babies come home yesterday knowing they would have the next two days off. To me, that would mean we could sleep in. To my boys, that means that if they get up the earliest, they get the Xbox all alone. So, that’s what Blake’s plan was... he was up at 5:30 this morning. Gavin was up shortly after him. Evette, my child who loves sleep like her mommy, slept until 8:30. That’s how it should work on these cold days off! 28/365 ~ Favorite Phone App | Snapseed | Project Life App | Rhonna Designs
I use all kinds of fun phone apps and I do use the ones listed in the prompt today. They all have their awesome features for sure! Feature #2 for January! 😁
27/365 ~ With Your Phone | Snapshot | In the Moment | Now I went and helped paint the church sanctuary tonight for 4 hours. When I got there the sun was still shining. When I left, we had about 4 inches of snow and it’s still coming down. This was a very in the moment photo... I made that trail and I only had my tennis shoes on! 😫 (the forecast said possibility of 1-3 inches throughout the night... they were wrong). 26/365 ~ Token | Gift | Souvenir | Keepsake
My daughter made this for me when she was in daycare. About 6 years ago! I keep it on the far left side of my dash board in my truck so I can enjoy seeing it daily. I love these little tokens of love from my babies! (This was a quick photo after dinner out with my in-laws). 25/365 ~ Prism | Artsy | Filter | Light
My boys have been raving about Christian artist Zack Williams lately. That prompted me to order a couple of CDs for them for their upcoming birthday ~ which prompted my husband and I to search down the old Christian CDs that we had growing up. I am thrilled to find these old treasures! I don't listen to too many CDs anymore because we have such a great Christian station that we all love. (I don't have a prism so I decided to use one of the CDs we found today to give my photo an artsy flare). Now to see how my babies enjoy our "older" music! LOL! 24/365 ~ Morning Light | Dawn | Horizon Line | First Light
This was the morning light I needed today. ~ And when I wake up, you are still with me! 23/365 ~ Eyes | Macro | Cropped | One
Oh this dog! Man does she make me laugh! She loves the snow. She buries her head sniffing after something (which to me just seems like she would get a nose full of snow). But that doesn't stop her. I wasn't able to catch her with her head buried ~ that will have to be on another day. 22/365 ~ Intentionally Cropping | Isolated | One | Placement
We got a nice amount of snow yesterday and last night. It’s the kind of snow that covers the ground like diamonds. Luna and I enjoyed trudging through it before it gets plowed. There were lonely leaves all over laying on the soft snow. |
Danette BadgerThis is my FIFTH challenge! I completed an entire 365 in 2014. In 2015, I tried to do something different and failed miserably so after finishing 2016 successfully I just had to keep going in 2017 and 2018! I am part of an amazing group of talented photographers who post an image from an interpretation of a prompt that we receive every day in our e-mail. It's so neat to see how differently a person perceives a simple word or concept and how they translate that into a photograph. I enjoy this challenge very much and I am looking forward to seeing what 2019 brings! Archives
