212/365 ~ Currently Loving | Bare Feet | Warmth | Family
We just got done with trap league tonight (my hubby missed his 50th clay in a row which was such a bummer ~ but he shot 73 out of 75)! Anyway, we decided tonight was a good night for some beverages and dinner! I love this because it shows the differences in us all. There are 5 sets of feet under this table. Those two on the end are our dear friends Heather and David. Then Mike and I and on the other end is Jason. Lots of laughs and great conversation tonight!

211/365 ~ In Hand | Snack | Hold | Duo
I felt like taking a break and including my babies in the photo today. This is the photo that snapped right as Eve decided to inform us that her sucker was ugly. It is all cracked up and messy looking. She made us all giggle with that one! 210/365 ~ Favorite Things | Clothing | Drink | Necessities
I suppose some of my favorite things in the clothing department would be over sized sweaters, some ripped up jeans, no shoes, and my phone (without which I wouldn't have been able to take this photo with). 209/365 ~ Be Happy | Smiles | Pleasure | Simplicity
Rain! Rain! Rain! I love it! :) (I only had my cell phone today - such a bummer)! 208/365 ~ Your Favorite Combo | Break The Rules | Out on Your Own | Enjoy Color
If there is a rose involved it will always be my favorite! And this little rose is right outside my front door in my very own rose bush. 204/365 ~ Cool and Warm | Spices | Bowl | Close Up
Oh today has been a day... My hubby's truck decided to make a very large donation to the highway today as it ejected his service bag full of all the tools he needs for work. We looked up and down the road for over an hour and didn't see one sign of the mess it should have made (the tools would have dumped out all over the place). After finding nothing at all we resolved ourselves to just having to buy a whole new set up. The lost bag was a collection of these tools throughout 15 years of his profession. Having to replenish that in one day was not so fun. But now he has all this shiny new stuff! And while he was organizing his new set up I soaked in a nice warm bath ~ and even took a bit of a nap! 206/365 ~ Sky | Orange | Yellow | Stand Out
See that little piece of sky in my glasses? It's just been a feel good kind of day for me and I have been soaking up all the sunshine I can lately! So relaxing! I hope it's been a good day for you all too! 205/365 ~ Black | Elegant | Dark and Moody | Accessory
Today was amazing! It started by meeting up with Amy and Kristina at the Royalton splash pad where we let the kids play to their hearts content while we visited. There were lots of photos taken there but nothing to the dark and moody variety in the lovely sunshine. Then tonight my hubby and I went to shoot trap with Jason and Heather. I specifically asked Heather to wear a black shirt (and she did even in this horrible heat) so I could get a photo of her and I with our accessories of the evening ~ our shotguns. This is the first time we were able to shoot together this season so I am glad we got these awesome photos! 204/365 ~ A Pair | Primary & Secondary | High Contrast | Opposite
9 miles on the bike today! Whoot! This pretty little vine caught my eye on tonight's bike ride so I did a quick turn around ~ snapped the photo ~ and continued on my ride. 🚴 203/365 ~ Purple and Yellow | Striking Combo | Close Crop | Minimal Approach
7 miles on the bike tonight! It's such a beautiful day! Had to take a break to capture these pretty flowers! |
Danette BadgerThis is my FIFTH challenge! I completed an entire 365 in 2014. In 2015, I tried to do something different and failed miserably so after finishing 2016 successfully I just had to keep going in 2017 and 2018! I am part of an amazing group of talented photographers who post an image from an interpretation of a prompt that we receive every day in our e-mail. It's so neat to see how differently a person perceives a simple word or concept and how they translate that into a photograph. I enjoy this challenge very much and I am looking forward to seeing what 2019 brings! Archives
