332/365 ~ Thankful for the Everyday | Useful | Overlooked | Wow!
One of my boys' classmates passed away and we found out about it yesterday. He was 12 years old and suffered with cancer for far too many years. He is safe in heaven and we are glad we get to see him again someday. We were blessed to get ready for our day with this beautiful sunrise today. So easily overlooked because of the hustle and bustle of our lives. I love being a photographer... I slow down, I make sure I pay attention, I make sure to treasure all the moments that go by too fast. I am praying that this young man's family finds comfort that he is not suffering anymore and is finally cancer free with Jesus! Sometimes it's hard to understand these heartbreaking situations but we know we have a God who loves us!

This is my FOURTH challenge! I completed an entire 365 in 2014 - then in 2015, I tried to do something different and failed miserably so after finishing 2016 successfully I just had to keep going in 2017! I am part of an amazing group of talented photographers who post an image from an interpretation of a prompt that we receive every day in our e-mail. It's so neat to see how differently a person perceives a simple word or concept and how they translate that into a photograph. I enjoy this challenge very much and I am looking forward to seeing what 2018 brings! You can view my past projects by clicking the links below for each year. CY365
