90/365 ~ Snippets | Bits | Glimpse | Collage
Easter eggs! We tried the cool whip/food coloring idea and loved it ~ the best part was being able to lick your fingers when you were done. The boys have officially outgrown this yearly activity... :( (although Gavin did do one egg).

I love oranges! In fact, this was the one thing that I craved during my pregnancies (expect beer which was weird because I didn't even like beer back then and of course, couldn't drink it while pregnant). My in-laws would always have oranges for me anytime we went over for a visit. I love these little ones - perfect size snacks. AND, the peel remains smell delicious! 88/365 ~ Without A Face | From Behind | Caught Unaware | Low Light
This morning I was all set to go run errands... pick up hubby's check, get to the bank, get some groceries, get an oil change (in my truck ~ which resulted in them telling me that I have cords showing in one of my tires so I can't drive it safely)... Got to my hubby's truck again so I could drive his instead ~ moved groceries to his truck, got home to put groceries away, made it tot a work meeting tow minutes late at 11:32. Meeting went to 12:30, run to my parents to get my kids to drive another 30 miles to Blake's ortho appointment, now back home only to turn around at 4:30 for TKD. I've put on more than 100 miles today! 87/365 ~ Buds | Colorize | Isolate Color | Contrast
I am in the typical winter depression stage that I go through EVERY YEAR! It's a time of year where everything in my house isn't good enough and something has to change. Because my house is on a smaller size, I can't even rearrange furniture to make a change. So, here I am trying to figure out a way to use this blue sample of wallpaper somewhere in my home. I haven't used wallpaper before so it will be interesting. 86/365 ~ Day's End | Birds | Sunset | Water
This whole photo is opposite of what the prompt pointed us to except for the birds. I cannot believe the crazy difference between the weather yesterday and today. By the end of the day today, the 4" of snow we got yesterday is completely gone! The snow was still so pretty this morning that I wanted to capture it and the added touch of the crows flying through the branches of the trees made me happy too. 85/365 ~ With Eyes | Looking | Gazing | Smiling
It's the official first day of Spring Break and we woke to a steady snow fall this morning that lasted the majority of the day. We got a total of about 4" and that allowed us to enjoy some fun outside! I got the Ranger out and pulled the kids around on their sleds for a couple of hours. I had them take a minute to lay in a snowbank and told them to peak at me. We all laughed hard because every time that Eve tried to copy Gavin and Blake - her hat would cover her eyes. Good thing her hat has eyes on it! LOL! I used my trusty waterproof point and shoot camera that was just used yesterday at the pool so I didn't notice the water drops on the lens - I guess it adds to the subtle falling snow in the photo. 84/365 ~ Tell A Story | Ingredients | Stages | Process
All it takes to make happy babies is a date with special cousins and a pool. I couldn't resist capturing the two girls singing in the shower after our swimming was done. If only a photo could capture sounds too ~ they made me giggle! 83/365 ~ Prompt Free
A perfect prompt today ~ or lack thereof ~ because we spent the majority of the day at a chess tournament for our son Blake. He loves this game and I love watching him play. He had three losses and two wins which was awesome! He did a great job today! 82/365 ~ Narrow Aperture | Beams | Light | Rays
Husky enjoys his perch up there while we watch television. I didn't have an opportunity for light beams today so I played with some light leak edits. 81/365 ~ Water Drops | Liquid | Magnified | Beverage
This was about as good as it is going to get for water drops today. Evette got horribly sick last night. Like the yucky throwing up kind of sick that stained her carpet and took daddy and I roughly an hour to clean up out of bed clothes and stuffed toys and pillows while little sicky relaxed in the warm shower... so today she stayed home. At about 10:00 this morning she was completely herself again and wanted to walk Luna with me. I was thrilled to see her feeling so much better ~ even well enough to jump in the puddles a bit. Happy baby = happy Mommy! |

This is my FOURTH challenge! I completed an entire 365 in 2014 - then in 2015, I tried to do something different and failed miserably so after finishing 2016 successfully I just had to keep going in 2017! I am part of an amazing group of talented photographers who post an image from an interpretation of a prompt that we receive every day in our e-mail. It's so neat to see how differently a person perceives a simple word or concept and how they translate that into a photograph. I enjoy this challenge very much and I am looking forward to seeing what 2018 brings! You can view my past projects by clicking the links below for each year. CY365
