I attended an all day opportunity with my boys. We traveled 2.5 hours to Junior Achievement BizTown. Each child in the 5th grade class had a specific job and man was it fun! Blake was the meteorologist who made snow and a wind turbine and also forecasted the weather. Gavin was a construction project manager who built a bench for the citizens to enjoy in the town square and also helped his other teammates with some of their projects. It was an extremely successful day in the BizTown world and I will be sure to go again! Junior Achievement is amazing! If you have a heart to volunteer ~ this is a great way to do it! I have been volunteering for 4 years and will have completed my 10th class at the end of this year (including today).

Oh today is gorgeous! I unfortunately spent a large amount of it inside cleaning but then decided a walk with Luna was too important to pass up! I enjoy listening to Pandora while we walk. 118/365 ~ Follow | Fence | Trail | Path
The marble chess set that was given to us has made a permanent home on our dining table his entire week. The kids have been playing a game each morning during breakfast before school. I love their love of games. Not really on prompt today. 117/365 ~ Repeating Patterns | Lines | Shapes | Color
I am really stretching the prompt today but this is something that I just have to share. A "repeating pattern" Luna and I have is to take our walks a couple times a day. We walk a mile loop from our house to the end of the road where there is a cemetery. Since spring came around and the snow started melting I had noticed three gravestones (all ground level) being run over and I hated to see car tracks over them. I always kept my eye open for some sort of marker I could put at the corner of this turn so people would avoid running over the stones. Then last week, at wits end, I saw a bright pink flower pot sitting outside of the caretakers shed. I decided that I would move it to the corner of this line up of stones so people would drive around it. The flower pot only had dirt in it when I moved it. Then today, as we were walking up to it there was this beautiful bouquet added to the pot I moved last week. And all the stones were nicely cleaned off! This brought tears to my eyes. I always see many sets of footprints in the dirt road so I know it's a popular place to walk - it makes me think that someone else was bothered by this and they added to my idea to protect this area like I needed to. I think even Luna approved of the added touch. 116/365 ~ Display | Playful | Assortment | Ensemble
With left over boards from our big wall project, I make these fun signs for my bathroom. I have been dying to share them! Such a simple project but I love how they turned out! Wash ~ Brush ~ Floss ~ Flush Super playful idea I found on Pinterest and made with my own touch. 115/365 ~ Fill the Frame | Crowded | No White Space | Faces
I know I could have used my sweet babies for today's prompt, however, after walking by these beautiful roses since Saturday (my daughter got three pretty pink flowers at her dance show last weekend), I couldn't resist using them for today. 114/365 ~ Look Beyond | Behind | Further | Distant
Driving past this river yesterday we spotted probably 50+ pelicans and 100+ loons enjoying the open water. I couldn't resist turning back to capture this even if that meant we would be late to Tae Kwon Do. I was on the opposite side of the busy highway. I am sure the cars passing by thought I was nuts! LOL! 113/365 ~ Bunched | Together | Fill the Frame | Colour
There is no shortage of pinecones now that the snow is gone! Spring clean up is on the agenda ~ sometime soon... 112/365 ~ Gathered | Flat Lay | Play | On the Ground
I have been waiting patiently to do this project until we had warmer weather. FINALLY, this weekend we got beautiful, warm, sunshiny days so we spent a good amount of it outside working on this. This is absolutely "play" for me... it's being creative and finally getting to some of my Pinterest saves! It started on the ground and is now on the wall! :) 111/365 ~ Prompt Free | Sea Cruise | Last Performance
It was the last performance of this seasons dance program. It was a big deal because the instructor that Eve has had for the last 3 years is done tonight as her family is growing and she wants to stay home with them. She has done so much for all the kids in this program and will be missed! |

This is my FOURTH challenge! I completed an entire 365 in 2014 - then in 2015, I tried to do something different and failed miserably so after finishing 2016 successfully I just had to keep going in 2017! I am part of an amazing group of talented photographers who post an image from an interpretation of a prompt that we receive every day in our e-mail. It's so neat to see how differently a person perceives a simple word or concept and how they translate that into a photograph. I enjoy this challenge very much and I am looking forward to seeing what 2018 brings! You can view my past projects by clicking the links below for each year. CY365
