131/365 ~ Where I Stand | Ant’s View | Creative Angle | Get Low
With a 20 year friendship under our belt it's amazing to see the differences in where our lives have taken us! My youngest (of three) is 7 and her first will be 1 the end of June. Still ~ we stay close and when we get unexpected little visits ~ it replenishes us both so much. I love this girl and her sweet daughter so much! Thank you for stopping by today!

130/365 ~ Extraordinary | Unusual | Elevated | Improve
Not sure that this fits the prompt completely but this is what I captured today. I've never had a cat who did this and I find it quite unusual. Whenever someone gets out of the shower or bath ~ he immediately runs in to drink any drops from the faucet. In the mornings when I wake up ~ he usually follows me in and I will let the water run a bit for him. Always makes me giggle (a great way to elevate my mood and start the day)... Here he is ~ eyes completely closed ~ totally soaking himself just to drink the water from his paws. 129/365 ~ Collection | Many | All Together | Similar
I have been spoiled with Willow Trees throughout the years! Each one has a special story and mean something different to me. The group of 5 in the front are my favorite because they represent my 5 so perfectly. My sweet twin boys and my husband and I holding our little girl. 128/365 ~ Makes Me Smile | Cherish | Family | What/Who I Love
Gavin had an appointment this morning so he helped me with recycling before we had to go. We live crazy close to a public recycling drop off (just around the corner from our road) so I let him ride on the side of the truck. He giggled the whole time and I couldn't resist pulling out my phone to capture this! I am still smiling and totally cherish moments like these with my loved ones. 127/365 ~ Currently Loving | Weeds | Seeds | Macro
I love seeing the new growth finally sprouting next to the old dead stuff from winter. I have no idea what this is but it's on a tree outside my office building. 126/365 ~ Natural State | Relaxed | WYSIWYG | No Frills
I absolutely live a life of "what you see is what you get." Life is too short to be anything but yourself so live it out loud! Here I am enjoying the wind in my hair, tattoos all over, makeup free, and chipped black nail polish on my toes... enjoying the beautiful day God has blessed us with! 125/365 ~ Lucky Find | Discover | Show Off | Fill the Frame
Daddy took the kids to uncle Matt's house so I took the time to do some yard work and then found myself with the lucky opportunity of having the afternoon to myself. I was able to watch a movie, catch up on a bible study I am doing, and just had an all around nice day. 124/365 ~ Monochrome | Same | Shades | Ombre
My kids were on their own this morning to get ready for school ~ they had to eat breakfast and get dressed and get to the bus all by themselves. This is only the second time they have been required to do so and I was a bit nervous. They did great though! I was surprised to see their choices of clothing today ~ Evette wore an outfit entirely of pink, Gavin wore camouflage, and Blake, much to my excitement, was all in blue! Perfect for today. I tried to do a couple different things with this photo but Blake liked this one best and since he is my model ~ he gets to pick. 123/365 ~ Versatile | Flexible | Adaptable | Multipurpose
Little Dixie cups can be so versatile ~ who knew they could even become a wind turbine! Like this one my son made on Monday at Junior Achievement BizTown. 122/365 ~ Denim | Clothes | Faded | Details
When I asked my three to put jeans on this morning, I got two grumbles. My daughter prefers leggings and Gavin has to wear athletic pants right now because he has gym class. So, after just asking them to wear a pair of jeans long enough for a photo, they were able to change. Gavin did say (after coming up with black jeans on) "denim doesn't have to be blue!" You are absolutely right buddy! LOL! |

This is my FOURTH challenge! I completed an entire 365 in 2014 - then in 2015, I tried to do something different and failed miserably so after finishing 2016 successfully I just had to keep going in 2017! I am part of an amazing group of talented photographers who post an image from an interpretation of a prompt that we receive every day in our e-mail. It's so neat to see how differently a person perceives a simple word or concept and how they translate that into a photograph. I enjoy this challenge very much and I am looking forward to seeing what 2018 brings! You can view my past projects by clicking the links below for each year. CY365
