11/365 ~ Exquisite | Delicate | Simple | Details
Yesterday we had beautiful, warm-ish, weather. It was wonderful even if the snow was melting. Then last night it got super cold and snowed. This morning I awoke to these pretty icicles hanging from my lit icicles and thought they looked very exquisite.

This pine cone smells heavenly! My daughter made this for me in preschool and it still smells like cinnamon. I keep it in my truck to enjoy the sweet smells when the heater is running. 9/365 ~ Odd One Out | Dirty | Snow | In a Line
Oh this dog is going to be the death of me! Every time I try to bring her out for a walk she refuses to move! I try everything! She is just so focused on everything that is going on around her she completely ignores me and will NOT MOVE! Ahhhh!! I have no idea if this fits the prompt today. I should title it "Stubborn Puppy." 8/365 ~ Splotches (of White) | Just a Little | Spots | Irregular
When a mother is used to crazy, wild, hectic mornings with three munchkins getting ready for school - she notices when things suddenly get quiet so she goes to investigate... This is what I discovered them doing - sitting so nicely together peeking out at the cute little bunny digging around in the snow looking for discarded seeds from the feeder hanging above. 7/365 ~ White | Simple | Pure | Clean
Luna joined us out on the ice rink today and I couldn't resist taking photos of her playing in the snow. Perfect white on white. 😊 **RECEIVED FEATURE ON INSTAGRAM** 6/365 ~ With Words | A Quote | Inspiration | Motto
My daughter had her winter dance show tonight. We always enjoy watching her so much! She loves it so much too and we can just see that as she performs ~ definitely dances from the heart! 5/365 ~ Practice | Learning | Start | First Time
I have been practicing yoga over 10 years. I seem to go through spurts where I practice consistently for a good amount of time and then spurts where I don't practice as much as I'd like at all. This is an exercise that I enjoy very much and I love all the benefits it provides. Even with the amount of time I have practiced this I always learn something new. I remember the first time I was able to stretch down and link my fingers under my foot like this - that was so awesome and it felt good to know that my hard work was paying off. 4/365 ~ Improvise | Contrive | Make Do | Invent
It's as if reading the prompt today made me stuck! LOL I was at a complete loss as to what to capture today. Then as I was cleaning out my dresser I found this... My grandma went on a huge kick of these little glass necklaces. They were made in all shapes and sizes and because she knows my love of roses, she insisted on getting this one for me. I don't wear it - it's a little big for my taste as far as a necklace goes but I have had it on key rings and hanging off of purses. I am going to put it on my camera bag now. Grandma is gone and I am feeling nostalgic today so I am glad I found this and I am glad that this inanimate object works for the prompt too! 3/365 ~ A Word | Inspiring | Goal | Purpose
Keeping my journey genuine is what is most important to me. I have days where I just can't seem to capture what I have pictured in my mind and other days where I absolutely surprise myself. Either way, it's my 365 and I plan on keeping it genuine for me. I use this project as a daily journal that I hope my children can look back on one day and really see what was important. That totally includes the no-so-great images that I may share. They all tell a story and that is the best part and no matter what, I always learn something new with each photo I take and share. 2/365 ~ Dormant | Bare | Stripped | Plain
I always think of the television painter, Bob Ross, when I see a lonely little tree... he would always make sure to add a "friend" for them in his paintings. This poor little tree sits alone illuminated by a street light. It's amazing to me how the world works when the branches strip bare for the winter months and yet they come back stronger and even more full once spring comes. **RECEIVED FEATURE ON INSTAGRAM** |

This is my FOURTH challenge! I completed an entire 365 in 2014 - then in 2015, I tried to do something different and failed miserably so after finishing 2016 successfully I just had to keep going in 2017! I am part of an amazing group of talented photographers who post an image from an interpretation of a prompt that we receive every day in our e-mail. It's so neat to see how differently a person perceives a simple word or concept and how they translate that into a photograph. I enjoy this challenge very much and I am looking forward to seeing what 2018 brings! You can view my past projects by clicking the links below for each year. CY365
