263/365 ~ Obvious | Unmistakable | Self-Explanatory | Distinctive
For 6 years I have been volunteering at my children’s school. I make myself available once a week and offer my services to them doing anything they may need. I find that the majority of them need me to get things ready for them. So I sit in the copy room for a couple of hours once a week. Today, Evette’s teacher had me get lots ready for his class. I love helping this way. It helps them do a better job being prepared to teach all the kids in their classroom the best they can.

262/365 ~ With Wrinkles | Shriveled | Pucker | Crease
These wrinkles started to bother me in my mid/late 20s... then I reminded myself that some are not lucky enough to even get wrinkles from a happy life. I live a happy life! Bring on the wrinkles that represent that! 260/365 ~ The Moves | Dance | Funky | Let Go
We walked to school this morning. You can barely see them up there but my three are walking near the building. I just feel a bit sentimental today. This building has housed all three of my babies since daycare. They will graduate here too! (If we never move of course). This is the building where we, as parents, really let go. This is where my kids will begin their own dance through this life. This is where they will discover the next move and where they want to end up down the road. I can’t wait to see it all! 257/365 ~ From Above | Top to Bottom | Tiered | Variety
It was another day spent in our boys rooms today. My hubby and I completed their closets with shelving and hangers. Here, Blake joined his brother in his room while we were working on his closet. I walked into Gavin’s room and found them with Bibles open working on their Bible crossword books. These moments melt me to the core! I am so proud of these young men who are loving the word of God and who are thrilled to learn as much as they can. 256/365 ~ Trailing Behind | Unposed | Far Away | Wider View
My hubby met me in town tonight after I finished a graduation shoot. He took me to dinner and we bought the shelving supplies for the boys bedrooms. I am following him home on this rainy night... Down | Eye to Eye | A Pair
Luna does this thing where she grabs onto you. She will reach out her paw and hold on. I love it. Sometimes it makes it hard to walk by her but we are used to it now so we expect it and don’t trip anymore! Her and I are a pair ~ I’m pretty attached to this furry baby! 254/365 ~ Command A View | Look Down | Get Up High | Town
I knew right away that I would go to my favorite spot for today's photo. Believe it or not, there is a whole town down there. My house is right by the water tower (which is very small down there). There is a pre-K through 12 grade school, a post office, a couple of churches, a bar, a couple of gas stations. We even have a Subway. The population of our little town is 460. I love calling this home. |

This is my FOURTH challenge! I completed an entire 365 in 2014 - then in 2015, I tried to do something different and failed miserably so after finishing 2016 successfully I just had to keep going in 2017! I am part of an amazing group of talented photographers who post an image from an interpretation of a prompt that we receive every day in our e-mail. It's so neat to see how differently a person perceives a simple word or concept and how they translate that into a photograph. I enjoy this challenge very much and I am looking forward to seeing what 2018 brings! You can view my past projects by clicking the links below for each year. CY365
