110/365 ~ Eyes | Catch Lights | Up Close | Reflection
Psalm 119:37 Turn my EYES from worthless things and give me life through your word. I had dinner tonight with a very dear friend. We had many laughs and even some tears. It's something we both needed so very much as busy wives and moms! Then, we met up with another friend and attended a Night of Hope event which was so refreshing. Such a great evening!

It's the last night of dance practice so the girls got a nice certificate and pin to commemorate the great season they had. Saturday will be their last performance of the year and the theme for this performance is Sea Cruise and I can't wait to see it! 108/365 ~ Texture | Black and White | Patterns | Essence
Finally seeing little streams as the snow is melting away! 107/365 ~ Macro | Close Up | Crop | Details
I needed thi reminder today! If I keep God close up ~ my worries will disappear. I splurged on this gift to myself today to hang prominetly in our living room as a constanct reminder so I do'nt forget. 106/365 ~ Striking | Flower | Head | Processed
I love my snowy white puppy! Her pretty red nametag sure stands out against her fur. 105/365 ~ Sharp | Clear | Crisp | In Focus
We didn't get as much snow as our neighbors to the south but we still got it and it's still coming down! 103/365 ~ Where I Stand | Look Down | Flower | Color
Her bed is right down there past my feet yet she always climbs half way up on my lap while I sit to give me some snuggles and nibbles on my fingers. So happy to have her in my life. Makes up for not having flowers yet as we are still buried under snow. 102/365 ~ Trademark | Favored | Expected | Quirk
If you come to my home during the cold months of the year, you can expect to find something has changed or been added... For example ~ this morning I woke up, found an old can of paint in the basement and decided that it would be a good idea to paint the interior side of my front door. This turned into realizing that I am tired of neighbor kids pushing their little faces up against the glass on my front door ~ invading our privacy ~ so I discovered this beautiful window film that I bought totally spur of the moment. I will be very happy with the final look! Yes ~ the door is black ~ but I have so much of the same colors all throughout my house that I need to break up all the monotone colors that have seemed to invade my home! I call this "quirk" my winter depression ~ my husband calls it his "dreaded honey-do list." Oh! And he HATES Pinterest! LOL! 101/365 ~ Your Lunch | Food | Plate | Salad
Wednesday night spoils this mom! All are welcome to come to church and enjoy a meal before Awana and they are always such good wholesome dishes! Tonight was sloppy joes, salad and delicious cookies. Well, the whole plate was delicious and it's even better because I didn't have to cook! We are so grateful to the ladies who do this for us each week! So, this isn't lunch but dinner instead. |

This is my FOURTH challenge! I completed an entire 365 in 2014 - then in 2015, I tried to do something different and failed miserably so after finishing 2016 successfully I just had to keep going in 2017! I am part of an amazing group of talented photographers who post an image from an interpretation of a prompt that we receive every day in our e-mail. It's so neat to see how differently a person perceives a simple word or concept and how they translate that into a photograph. I enjoy this challenge very much and I am looking forward to seeing what 2018 brings! You can view my past projects by clicking the links below for each year. CY365
