I figured Luna would help today during our walk. I only had my cell phone but here she is running at me through the deep snow in the ditch that she insists on walking through! LOL!

48/365 ~ What I'm Reading | Books | Story Time | Words
Let me tell you a story about a young man who received his black belt in Tae Kwon Do back in September 1996 along side his dad and younger brother. This young man was 16 years old and shortly after receiving his black belt he got a car and a job and found that life got in the way of continuing his training. Flash forward 20 years to March 2017 and this same young man, now older, decided to join his three children who are also practicing this amazing martial art. His twin boys joined in August 2016 and his daughter joined in January 2017. Today, after only being back in the Dojang for 11 months earned the honor of his second degree black belt. We are so beyond proud of him and I can't wait to continue to watch my entire family continue to succeed in this! Our three children will wait for the next testing date to receive their higher ranks. 47/365 ~ Where I Stand | Put Your Feet Up | Relax | Tradition
My four are amazing! My boys have been in Tae Kwon Do since August 2016, my daughter joined in January 2017, and my husband joined AGAIN in March 2017. All four of them are set to go to the Friday night training before testing tomorrow morning. Even my husband may test. They will decide tonight if they are ready so please say a prayer for them. Training will be for 4 hours for the kids and who knows when my hubby will be home. I am so proud of these 4 and I am so glad that I can support them and play my part to get them through this ~ and that means that I stand behind them encouraging them every step of the way. 46/365 ~ Fun | Silly | Humorous | Story
This prompt threw me this morning. That was until I saw the candy jar open on the counter... Then I saw the pink bubble gum. You know, the super hard stuff that the flavor disappears after about 5 minutes of cheering. Still, I thought that this would be a good idea. My kids sure loved it and giggled so much at me this morning. My jaw hurt from this mouth full of gum but I did have fun. The kids especially loved it when the bubbles popped and I had to peal the gum off my chin and nose. Lol! 45/365 ~ Happy Valentine’s Day | Sweet Nothing | Be Mine | Snail Mail
I have been waiting for today to share this! I finally finished this project last month. On May 24, 2017 we had a prompt of {Nostalgia | Sentimental | Reminisce | Memory} and I shared a few of these photos for that prompt. I had been wanting to make this board and at that time I had planned on putting something like "This family does 'till death do us part." When I finally got everything together I changed it to a "Legacy of Love." This hangs prominently in our home and I love that my kids will see this daily. Marriage is such a special thing and I want them to see these happy couples in their family that stuck it out and stayed married through the good and bad times. My maternal grandfather is the only one with multiple marriages. He did remarry after my grandma passed away. I love this Legacy of Love! My paternal grandparents were married for 51 years before they both passed in 2011. We had and still have the best example of what love looks like through these couples. I hope my kids will find their other half in their life and be just as happy! 44/365 ~ A Hobby | Pastime | Leisure | Play
The first thing that came to mind today (besides my photography obsession) was my scrapbooking obsession. But then as I was working on this project for my church, I realized that I love any outlet that allows me to be creative and make things that others will enjoy. This sign is HUGE and will be used outside the nursery in our church. I was so excited that they asked me to do this. I have two other signs to make for two other rooms as well. This is still a work in progress and I am having so much fun playing around with different ideas. 43/365 ~ Currently Loving | Snack | NIbble | Goodies
I love being able to stay home while I work. I love that I can look out my window and see these happy little birds nibbling at the snacks and goodies that we put out for them to enjoy. 42/365 ~ Self Portrait | Black and White | Cropped | Don’t Look
I love the bright sunlight that pours through my bedroom window in the morning! That burst of vitamin D was welcome this cold winter day. 41/365 ~ Shades Of... | Striped | Variegated | Textured
I am off prompt mostly because there was no pink in this scene and I decided to use a black and white photo. My boys had their first sleepover last night and it has been awesome to see them with their friends in our home. There has been lots of game playing and laughter and all around happy memories for all 4 of these boys. 40/365 ~ Interesting Find | Unusual | Funny | Pink
Yesterday I shared my pretty pink journal and today I had the wonderful pleasure of taking a peak into my daughter's pretty pink journal. (I did have her permission). What I found is that these pages are full of her sweet nature. There are pages of "I love dad," "I love mom," "I love God and the Bible," and "I love school." I paged through her beautiful pictures and words and this one stood out to me so much. She has such joy in her heart and she shares it with everyone she meets! Nothing she has written is necessarily an interesting find, or unusual, or funny ~ just lots of sweet words and pictures from a pretty girl who I love so much! |

This is my FOURTH challenge! I completed an entire 365 in 2014 - then in 2015, I tried to do something different and failed miserably so after finishing 2016 successfully I just had to keep going in 2017! I am part of an amazing group of talented photographers who post an image from an interpretation of a prompt that we receive every day in our e-mail. It's so neat to see how differently a person perceives a simple word or concept and how they translate that into a photograph. I enjoy this challenge very much and I am looking forward to seeing what 2018 brings! You can view my past projects by clicking the links below for each year. CY365
