Spider

Day 6:  I love playing around with macro photography.  What I really love about it is the detail you can see in nature.  Today was the coldest day we've had in quite some time in MN and that forced me to try to find something indoors that I could get up close with.  I have had this spider plant since I got married 8 years ago.  What's even more special about this plant is that it came from a baby spider from my mom's spider plant when she got married 30 years ago.  And she got hers from her parents.  This plant has produced so many babies.  Some have fallen off on their own.  Some have been ripped off by little hands.  And some have been taken by friends and loved ones to start their own plant at their own home.  Not to mention, these are extremely hard to kill.  Which makes this the perfect plant for me!  These are the neatest plants and really do resemble spiders when the babies get quite large.

I have taken on a challenge to take one photo a day for this entire year.  I have been excited to join up with an amazing community of talented photographers who have also taken on this challenge.  The goals I have for myself this year is to, first of all, complete the whole year of 365 photos.  I also want to allow this challenge to teach me all I can about the equipment I have in order to better myself as a photographer.  I am excited to learn and experience so much this year through this challenge.  Thank you for taking the time to look through my journey.  It truly means a lot to me.
