Day 268/365: My husband is preparing to build our daughter's new bed! He made our boys their beds for their 4th birthday, and is doing the same for our little girl who will be 4 on the 30th. He is so creative and sure takes his time to build priceless and one of a kind furniture for our babies. They are things I sure hope they all treasure and hold onto, even if they pass them down to their own children.
I thought that I would actually miss a photo today because we had a funeral to go to and I just didn't take out my camera but it dawned on me that it would be a neat idea to capture Owl from Winnie the Pooh who often says: "who, hoo, who?" Did I say how much I love Winnie the Pooh and all his friends?!
Day 263/365: My hubby and I are taking a road trip to a friends house and we just came out of a yuky storm. As we were driving out of the storm and into the sun I was looking back through the mirror and saw how pretty the clouds looked. I thought this was neat because the reflection shows in the mirror and off the side of the truck too. :)
Day 262/365: Homecoming at school today. Our school has a parade each year in preparation of the game tonight. My husband, daughter, and I went and we enjoyed watching and collecting candy. My boys got to walk in the parade and then they stood on the sidelines to watch the floats go by and collect candy too. My boys are in this image (they are the two with their hoods up in the maroon and grey sweaters). It was very fun!
Day 261/365: nothing spectacular about this photo except that it warms my heart. I am always in between two of my three babies and as the days get busyier and the kids get older and mom has so much to get done in the house, these cuddle times are getting fewer and farther apart. I have never minded being a human sandwich. They keep me warm.
Day 258/365: One of the first trees I have noticed that is changing colors already! Autumn is my FAVORITE season and I can't wait until all the trees are painted these beautiful colors. This is in front of my favorite spot - North Twin Lake. If you look closely, the swans are still down there (on the left side of image). On the opposite side of the lake, there are a couple boats on the shore as well.
I have taken on a challenge to take one photo a day for this entire year. I have been excited to join up with an amazing community of talented photographers who have also taken on this challenge. The goals I have for myself this year is to, first of all, complete the whole year of 365 photos. I also want to allow this challenge to teach me all I can about the equipment I have in order to better myself as a photographer. I am excited to learn and experience so much this year through this challenge. Thank you for taking the time to look through my journey. It truly means a lot to me.
