Day 222/365: I was asked by my mother and father in law to paint their bedroom. Today was the day and I had to make sure that I was constantly careful by the edges of the room: by the windows, closet, door, and the ceiling and floor. I put on some music and find painting quite soothing even if it is a lot of work. Day 220/365: This is my daughter, Evette, in gymnastics. She got really good on the balance beam all by herself! She learned all about Pikes, Squats, Layouts, Straddles, and Tucks. She got a lot of experience on the balance beams, the vault, and the bars. It's been fun to watch how much she loved this.
Day 216/365: I don't have a macro lens. I really want one though! Regardless, I did have fun this morning setting up the tripod and I am happy with this pretty flower. My hostas are blooming like crazy and it's fun to watch them open.

I have taken on a challenge to take one photo a day for this entire year. I have been excited to join up with an amazing community of talented photographers who have also taken on this challenge. The goals I have for myself this year is to, first of all, complete the whole year of 365 photos. I also want to allow this challenge to teach me all I can about the equipment I have in order to better myself as a photographer. I am excited to learn and experience so much this year through this challenge. Thank you for taking the time to look through my journey. It truly means a lot to me. Archives
