Day 284/365: I went on the World Wide Photo Walk today! This is my second year and it gets better each time. There is nothing better than to get out there for a set amount of time, doing something that I love, meeting people who have the same passion, and snapping photos like crazy! This one actually surprised me. I knew the dragonflies were here, but I didn't know I captured one on landing.

Day 283/365: My poor family has to endure so much with me! Today, I text everyone at about 9:00 in the morning to see what they would be doing this evening... Lucky for me (and not so lucky for them) I made them all coordinate clothing and meet out at our parent's house so we could have a fun shoot. I do this every year, but this year I wanted to have us all match a bit. It was a lot of fun for sure!
Day 281/365: These beautiful days are going to get more sporadic! I have to talk my kids into going outside after school. They are so worn out from the busy day I suppose. Today, we were able to enjoy the fresh air and take the bikes out for a race. No one really "won" ~ except mom ~ making memories! :)
Day 280/365: It's the wonderful season of buying pumpkins and gourds. I love the bright colors of Autumn!
Day 279/365: My world was made complete the day this man made me his wife. This hardworking, loving, caring person who gave me three beautiful children. Day 278/365: The leaves are falling too quickly for my liking. It seems like once all the colors finally pop out, they fall. Autumn is my favorite season because of the beautiful colors - but they sure don't last long! I liked all the yellows and greens that I captured in this colored bokeh image.
Day 276/365: During the fall months, every Friday, you can look out our kitchen window to see the football field illuminated for the games. It's so much fun to hear the fans cheering on their teams! My hubby especially likes it because he can walk to the back of our property to see the score. Our team had a great victory tonight ~ even playing in the rain/sleet/snow that is coming down. |

I have taken on a challenge to take one photo a day for this entire year. I have been excited to join up with an amazing community of talented photographers who have also taken on this challenge. The goals I have for myself this year is to, first of all, complete the whole year of 365 photos. I also want to allow this challenge to teach me all I can about the equipment I have in order to better myself as a photographer. I am excited to learn and experience so much this year through this challenge. Thank you for taking the time to look through my journey. It truly means a lot to me. Archives
