315/365 ~ Peace | Black & White | Loyalty | Strength
I am a bit off prompt today because I am on a scrapbook retreat.
I took this photo yesterday on my way to the retreat and thought I would use it today because it was a surprise to drive by these beautiful birds walking on the country road where I grew up. Swans are used as a symbol of loyalty and strength and I can't thank those veterans enough who possess these qualities who have served, who are serving, and who are yet to serve our great country. I am thankful!
This is my THIRD challenge! I completed an entire 365 in 2014 - then in 2015, I tried to do something different and failed miserably so I was excited to take the challenge back on for 2016 and I successfully completed last year too! I am part of an amazing group of talented photographers who post an image from an interpretation of a prompt that we receive every day in our e-mail. It's so neat to see how differently a person perceives a simple word or concept and how they translate that into a photograph. I enjoy this challenge very much and I am looking forward to seeing what 2017 brings! You can view my past projects by clicking the links below for each year.
