270/365 ~ A Is For | An Object | Food | Emotion
A is for adolescence. These three astounding children are mine. I love their adventurous and ambitious outlook on life. They are equally alluring and adorable! They amaze me with their authentic personalities which are such an admirable trait. They are amusing and animated and artistic and active. They always keep me running and laughing and enjoying life. Needless to say, my heart bursts with amore for them! These simple days, the daily events that keep me busy and don't allow me to sleep late in the mornings, these are the things that I need to capture. The years, months, weeks, days, hours, minutes, seconds are FLYING by. Before I know it they will be out of their adolescence years and into their adult ones. For now, I am doing my best to make sure their childhood is the best I can make it! 269/365 ~ Follow In My Footsteps | Mimic | Smaller Version | Copycat
I pray this for myself daily... that God leads ME to help raise them the best way I possibly can. Without Him leading me, I can't do a good job with them. I hear parents say that they want their kids to be better than they are or do better than they do. I do understand what that means but I also hope my kids ARE like me because that means I am going the way I should. I am NOT perfect by a long way ~ but I sure do try to live a life my Father in Heaven is proud of and I hope to raise my children to mimic that same idea. Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.

This is my THIRD challenge! I completed an entire 365 in 2014 - then in 2015, I tried to do something different and failed miserably so I was excited to take the challenge back on for 2016 and I successfully completed last year too! I am part of an amazing group of talented photographers who post an image from an interpretation of a prompt that we receive every day in our e-mail. It's so neat to see how differently a person perceives a simple word or concept and how they translate that into a photograph. I enjoy this challenge very much and I am looking forward to seeing what 2017 brings! You can view my past projects by clicking the links below for each year. Archives
