90/365 ~ New Growth | Change | Transition | Budding
My three munchkins planted a tiny sunflower seed many weeks ago in Sunday School. Blake was especially worried about his because his brother's and sister's seeds started growing very shortly after bringing them home. We thought that maybe his seed was watered a bit too much and drowned. Still, we left this sitting in its cup on the windowsill in the kitchen and I noticed a tiny green sprout a few days ago. It's amazing how quickly it has grown to this size! Makes me think how quick my babies have grown... those hands holding that seed are already almost the size of mine ~ and he's only 10!!

We don't go to dance for another two hours, but tonight is picture night so she gets to wear her official costume. There was no waiting to put that on after school! 88/365 ~ Phone Art | Filtered | Altered | Editing
A perfect prompt to take a selfie because I can do anything to it! Feeling colorful today! 87/365 ~ Arranged | Styled | Display | Art
It IS a journey worth taking! I took this impression of Fuji's paw on my last day with her. I love having this displayed in my home. I am planning on adding this and some photos to a shadow box.

Peaking out of the dead foliage from last year, my hydrangeas are already starting to bloom. It's just God's handiwork how they appear to be gone with no hope of returning to their full beauty ~ but it never fails ~ each and ever year they do ~ and they come back bigger and more beautiful than the last year!

This is my THIRD challenge! I completed an entire 365 in 2014 - then in 2015, I tried to do something different and failed miserably so I was excited to take the challenge back on for 2016 and I successfully completed last year too! I am part of an amazing group of talented photographers who post an image from an interpretation of a prompt that we receive every day in our e-mail. It's so neat to see how differently a person perceives a simple word or concept and how they translate that into a photograph. I enjoy this challenge very much and I am looking forward to seeing what 2017 brings! You can view my past projects by clicking the links below for each year. Archives
