192/365 ~ Enclosed | Framed | Bordered | Outlined
This ant was found by my son who said I should use it as my photo today. So I did. I can't resist these beautiful lilies anyway so I didn't mind one bit... I guess you could say that the ant is enclosed within the flower... or the ant bordered or outlined the flower's petals so it wouldn't fall off... however it works it works for me. 😊

191/365 ~ Seven | Numbers | Pieces | Lucky
Seven beautiful tiger lilies! The entire side of the Tae Kwon Do building is lined with these insanely beautiful flowers! I have been dying to have a reason to photograph them and when I discovered this stem with 4 bloomed and 3 buds ~ it fit the "seven" part of today's prompt. Lucky me!
186/365 ~ Cheerful | Pleasant | Delightful | Playful I always have to remind myself that it's so important to take a simple 5 minutes to sit and play... today has been an extremely busy day with work and cleaning my messy house and catching up on MOUNDS of laundry. I was in the middle of hanging something outside to dry when my baby girl caught my hand and said "come play with me." To be honest, it was very hard to say yes... there is just so much to be done. I know how important these times will be for her (and me too) because one day she will stop asking... so I will give her 5+ minutes when she asks me and when my boys ask me. I realized, too, that each and everyday my three ask me about my prompt... they ask me what my photo is... they watch me take a photo, edit a photo, upload a photo, and all the while they are so patient with me while I do it... EVERYDAY they do that for me... Oh how I wish an adults life could slow down to child's speed. They give me the time daily to finish what I am doing... "just a second" is a very common phrase they hear from me and they never complain... they always give me that time so I better be sure to give them the time they ask for! (While I was outside playing with my daughter, my hubby was playing a board game with my boys... I am so grateful that my sweet husband will also give that time when our kids ask).

This is my THIRD challenge! I completed an entire 365 in 2014 - then in 2015, I tried to do something different and failed miserably so I was excited to take the challenge back on for 2016 and I successfully completed last year too! I am part of an amazing group of talented photographers who post an image from an interpretation of a prompt that we receive every day in our e-mail. It's so neat to see how differently a person perceives a simple word or concept and how they translate that into a photograph. I enjoy this challenge very much and I am looking forward to seeing what 2017 brings! You can view my past projects by clicking the links below for each year. Archives
