Day Eighty-One: Healthy | Active | Hearty | Good for You A trip to the dentist isn't always a favorite for some people but it is a healthy thing to do on a regular basis. Gotta keep those pearly whites clean and healthy!

Day Seventy-nine: Vast | Landscape | Scene | Sanctuary
This is the scene for me this weekend. All of these beautiful creative ladies all in one place ~ it's quite a sanctuary for sure! Day Seventy-Eight: Silly | Funny | For Grins | Wacky
Man-oh-man does this guy make me laugh! After dropping the kids off at school we spent the morning on the four-wheelers. It's quite cold and has been snowing all morning. We were both dressed up pretty snugly but I still had to cut our ride short due to how cold my hands got. I was all set to post the selfie I took in my HUGE snow pants (truly - they are huge on me) and this silly hat just to show what it takes to keep warm when we do things like this in the middle of March (only a week after having 60 degree weather) but you know - that's what's wacky about central MN... Pretty temperamental as far as weather goes. The other part that's funny about this is that my hubby refuses to take his hat off. He wears a baseball hat 24/7 if I would let him. Whenever he comes to kiss me it usually pokes me in the forehead so I take it off and throw it across the room. Instead of getting his hat back, he went and grabbed this one and came after me again with kissy lips. Made me giggle!
Day Seventy-Six: Contrast | Comparison | Variation | Opposite
We are still in 'green week' and today's prompt had us working with contrasting colors. This came to me as simply and sweet as ever as my boys were helping their sister reconstruct some of her Lego sets that had come apart. As I was walking by the table I noticed how nice these flowers looked on their green field. Add in the little Lego kitten and I had my photo giving me those nice contrasting colors. Plus, it is pretty fun to play with Legos! Day Seventy-Five: From Above | Down Below | Raised | Stand Over
I had high hopes today - to actually do a bit of a photo walk because it was quite nice after I got off of work. However, that was not to be today... My children wanted to ride their bikes and love to ride in and out of my garage when I have the truck outside. It was pretty noisy in there so I peaked out and surprise, surprise, they provided my photos today - dirty garage floor and all. I stood up on the steps and enjoyed seeing their art work. They drew clovers all around - I think they are anticipating St. Patrick's Day and all the fun that brings especially at school! Day Seventy-Four: In A Field Of Green | Flatlay | Landscape | Surroundings
I am greatly anticipating Friday! I am going on a three day scrapbook retreat with a couple of girlfriends and we always have so much fun together! This is the third time we will be doing a retreat at a Christian youth camp just down the road from where I grew up. It's a dear place to me because I used to work there as a kid/young adult. Going on these retreats are always such a refreshing and uplifting thing for me. I get to surround myself with a hobby that I love while looking at photos of special occasions and people and creating wonderful books for my friends and family to enjoy. Yes, I am looking forward to Friday! I have been working on organizing my supplies and was excited to find all of the greens that I may just have to use this weekend. Day Seventy-Three: Emerald | Foliage | Kelly | Jade
I woke up to a very different morning compared to yesterday (yesterday was a beautiful 60 degree day and my hubby and I enjoyed a 4 hour wheeler ride and a fire with some friends last evening - thank goodness for grandparents who took our babies overnight for us)! Today, however, is a rainy, cloudy day. I told my hubby what today's prompt was and he immediately looked out of our bedroom window and pointed out the one and only odd tree on our entire property (an Elm Tree amongst a forest of Pines) and showed me how bright the moss is growing on it. PERFECT! So, I went out and captured some neat angles of how it looks growing up the side of the tree. Day Seventy-Two: Familiar | Domestic | Mundane | Habit
I have never been a big fan of cooking. It takes too long... If I had my way I would just keep easy to eat things like bagels, cereal bars, sandwiches, etc. around. But... Because I am a mommy of three and a wife, I know that I need to keep a good variety of things to change up our diets and keep everyone healthy. So, I do the cooking even if it is just a mundane task for me. Some things I don't mind cooking more than others but again, I try to keep things new and different so I can broaden my family's horizons as far as what they like to eat. (I do like to bake though)! :) |

This is the second time I have taken on this challenge. I completed a 365 in 2014 - took 2015 off and decided that this year I wanted to do another challenge. I am part of an amazing group of talented photographers who post an image from an interpretation of a prompt that we receive every day in our e-mail. It's so neat to see how differently a person perceives a simple word or concept and how they translate that into a photograph. I am kicking myself that I didn't do a challenge in 2015 so this is me getting back into doing something I enjoy so very much! Archives
