I had the most amazing opportunity to join three other photographers today on a field trip to the Stone Arch Bridge in Minneapolis. The night photography was my favorite part of this experience and it was hard to leave. I loved hearing the street performers (violinist and a flutist). I loved seeing the exercise group working out on those really cool Kangaroo Jumps shoes (in fact, it would be so much fun to own them)! There was one lone duck that gave us a show. I enjoyed watching other professional photographers working on all sorts of sessions including families, grads, couples, etc. It was crazy to watch those specifically because they had SO many variables to work with. It sure made me realize how lucky I am to work in a rural area! A very unfortunate part of our trip was when my friend lost her very expensive tripod to the Mississippi. She set it against the fence and it went right through. Thank goodness she didn't have her camera on it! Needless to say, this was a priceless experience for me and one that I will treasure forever. I am in love with the fact that I have finally met like minded people who I can share my passion of photography with!
