Right before I went out to take this couple’s grandson’s graduation photos on their property, they asked me to capture a few photos of them with their furry baby. I was more than happy to do so. THEN, after photos of their grandson, they spoiled me with a delicious meal that warmed us all up after being outside on this chilly Sunday afternoon! Thank you for such kind hospitality!

IT WAS SO COLD TODAY! This made things quite difficult because we would throw the jackets to the side really fast, try to get the kids to look not-so-cold, and then put jackets right back on. We were hoping to take advantage of location more but the wind didn't make that very pleasant for us. So, we decided that we will just have to get together again, hopefully next spring. Oh these precious precious girls! I always have so much fun seeing these four and I am so grateful that they ask me to come to their home to do this with them. Goodness they make these babies cute! It's pretty neat how I met this lovely lady. She contacted me because one of my very good friends works with her. Then, when we finally met up for photos, we were waiting for her hubby to join us and she said that he worked at the school. Well, I finally put it together! Mr. Box happens to be teaching my boys this year in 5th grade! We had only met once at the fall conferences but it was so nice to take a few moments with him and his lovely wife and son during his lunch break on this snowy November afternoon. I could have spent the entire day with this sweet little boy and his mom! While mom and I got to chat to our hearts content, this handsome little guy was more than happy to play in front of the camera. What a sweet one year old little boy! These two beautiful girls were two of the first little ladies I had the pleasure of photographing when I started this adventure. I have been so lucky to capture their new little brother and their mom still comes to me to capture them as they grow. I am so unbelievably blessed to know this family. Oh how these girls made my whole day! I took this day off from work to drive to Bemidji to spend the early afternoon with these beautiful one year old girls. Guess what? I get to call these girls cousins too! :) This pair is the second pair of twins in our family on my husband's father's side after my boys came. It's so much fun to have this taste of baby times two again. Twins are such a blessing! It was such a perfect Sunday afternoon to meet at my aunt and uncles house (their grandma and grandpas house) for photos with their new puppy Fred. Puppy Fred is almost as cute as these three super sweet babies. I love spending time with them. I have been blessed to photograph my cousins baby girl, Kenley, since birth. Now, I have been blessed again to capture baby girl #2, Taylen! We are all so glad you are here and Kenley is going to be such a great big sister to you! I met this wonderful family through the Tae Kwon Do school that we attend. Mom of this beautiful baby practiced TKD well into her pregnancy and after having her, came back to train just days after. She is such an inspiration! And she sure gave birth to another beautiful baby girl! Five beautiful babies - SO BLESSED! Last year on New Year's Eve, this wonderful family had me out to their house to capture their entire family together. This year, just a day shy of New Year's Eve, they had me out again. I do believe a tradition has started. Perhaps they will have me out next year too! Either way, we always have so much fun and I do love hearing their fun Christmas stories and especially love to hear what the kids favorite part of the holidays are.
This day is really about little Kenley but I am so thrilled that they are expecting one more! AHH! So excited for this sweet little family and so happy that Kenley will be a big sister! But for now, she is TWO years old already and I have loved watching her grow! Isn't she the cutest little thing!?
This beautiful lady is our cousin. She has recently met this handsome young man and his little girl and they are starting a very special relationship together. When she contacted me to capture photos of just her and that sweet little girl as a surprise for her dad, I was very excited to do so. Then when he came too, I couldn't resist having him join them for a few photos too. Aren't they a gorgeous little family? Maybe someday, I'll be photographing their wedding! Wouldn't she make the most adorable little flower girl? But no pressure guys - really NO pressure! LOL
This family is just amazing and I have loved becoming friends with this lovely mom! Her oldest and my youngest have been in dance together for a couple of years now and that means that once a week, we get to relax and visit and have really gotten to know each other. I enjoy our visits so much that I hate when dance comes to an end. We usually try to get together a few times during the summer months though!
Early on in my photography journey I was contacted by a wonderful lady who asked me to photograph her two girls. We became friends. She and her hubby added a baby boy to their family and she still has me capture her happy family. I love these times with her. I get to see her crazy sweet kids and we get to visit and catch up on our lives and how we have been. It's a win-win!
These two are my second cousins. They are both adopted into our family and man do we love them so much! So glad they are family. They are so much fun to play with and I am so spoiled to be the one to take these photos.
I met this wonderful lady at her place of business quite some time ago. We discovered, after she found out my last name, that her husband worked with my father-in-law. She retired from her job a few years ago and still, she decided to seek me out to capture these happy memories of her with her family. I was thrilled to hear from her. She has the sweetest family! It was such a beautiful day to spend by the water. I am so lucky to have a day off each week. Today was a perfect opportunity to travel 1.5 hours to my best friend's house to meet her new little girl after sending my three babies off to school. I am almost two weeks behind in meeting her so this was especially special. Of course, I had to take my camera and capture this little beauties newness. She is PRECIOUS!! I am only sorry that I couldn't stay longer and love her up more! Oh how I love this little guy! I would ask him to do something and he would say "no thanks." That made his mom and I giggle but did prove to be difficult to get him to look at me for a couple of seconds to get a good shot. I found that just letting him run around in the falling snow was opportunity enough to capture some happy photos of this beautiful little boy.
Last year at a motorcycle rally, I provided a certificate for photos as a raffle item. This beautiful little girl's grandma won the certificate and gave it to her mom and dad who called me to redeem it today. I was thrilled to play with a baby girl for a couple of hours! It's been many years since I have held a little one! Isn't she beautiful!?!?
Back in 2013 Tiffany asked me to come out and spend time taking photos of her with her insanely cute dog, Cece. That was my very FIRST "professional" photoshoot! It's an extremely memorable shoot and I was so grateful that she asked me to come back. This time it was to capture her with her family. We spent the day running in and out of the house trying to keep warm but we did manage to capture some happy, beautiful memories of this fun family! This beautiful little blue eyed baby is almost ONE year old! I have been so lucky to capture a few milestones for this little lady - her newborn photos, her 6 month photos, and now, as she is coming close to her big ONE year - well, I just have to say how much I have loved watching her grow. She is such a sweet little girl!
How lucky am I to have such a gorgeous family! That's my brother and his wife and munchkins. This was actually a two-part photo shoot because the first day we got together it was quite chilly and even my camera protested a bit so we didn't get all the photos we wanted to then. Part two allowed us to do a bit more - even if it was just as quick as part one because the kids wanted to run off to play with their cousins. It wound up being a great day together playing in the snow.
These two found each other in such a fun way and I can tell how happy they are together. I became friends with that gentleman about 15 years ago and time and life pushed us in different directions so I was SO thrilled when his lovely lady asked about doing photos and he said to find me. It almost didn't work to get together this afternoon but it sounded like this was their last opportunity for quite some time to get some photos together and I really wanted to be able to capture these for them. That handsome little man was SO easy to work with and had some great ideas and had mom crawling all over the place in her cute shoes. They were all such good sports and we had a lot of fun! Thank you guys for spending the time with me. I hope you enjoy these as much as I did taking them. It's so great to catch up with old friends and meet new friends in the process.
