12 O’CLOCK ~ Picture More ~ Leading Lines ~ Picture Time ~ 365:365PictureToday:2021
Our New Years Eve tradition is to slumber party in the living room. We pull our cots out and watch movies and eat junk food and play games and just enjoy being together on the last day of the year. Leviticus 26:10 You will eat the old grain of the previous year and will clear out the old to make room for the new.

My boys got a forge for Christmas and they are so thrilled! My truck has been removed from the garage and they are starting to learn how all this works! 1 Corinthians 15:41 There is a splendor of the sun, another of the moon, and another of the stars; for one star differs from another star in splendor. We love these! It’s always such a bummer when the Christmas season is over because that’s the only time we can find them. 1 Corinthians 10:3 They all ate the same spiritual food, GLOWING ~ Picture More ~ Leading Lines ~ 362:365PictureToday:2021
Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. APPRECIATION ~ Picture More ~ Leading Lines ~ 361:365PictureToday:2021
We got roughly 17” of snow last night. My hubby wasn’t able to plow until after work so he started right after he got home. While I knew he was plowing our second driveway, I looked out and saw another (unknown at the time) person snow blowing our main driveway and out by our mailbox. I learned that it was our neighbor and after they got our property done, they went down to our other close neighbors and got them all plowed out too. As he said, “it’s just neighbors helping neighbors.” He’s right and it is oh so appreciated! Many hands make light work! Romans 12:2 Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God. REFLECT ~ Picture More ~ Leading Lines ~ 360:365PictureToday:2021
We celebrated Christmas with my family today and we didn’t get an opportunity to get a family photo unfortunately. Instead, I am using the little tree that my mom has up and decorated with some older photos of all of us. The arty thing on the table is something I made many years ago! Psalms 143:5 I remember the days of old; I meditate on all You have done; I reflect on the work of Your hands. CHRISTMAS DAY ~ Picture Color ~ Indigo ~ 359:365PictureToday:2021
Was able to talk my hubby’s family into letting me take this before our Christmas was over. Like 2:13-15 Suddenly there was a multitude of the heavenly host with the angel, praising God and saying: Glory to God in the highest heaven, and peace on earth to people He favors! When the angels had left them and returned to heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go straight to Bethlehem and see what has happened, which the Lord has made known to us.” VALUABLE ~ Picture Color ~ Indigo ~ 358:365PictureToday:2021
I have captured a similar photo like this for 7 years now ~ once for every year I have done a 365 project. 2014, missed 2015 because I didn’t follow a 365, and then 2016-now. These photos are very valuable to me and I told my kids I will probably ask them to do this every Christmas until I am gone. 🤣 our little family actually celebrated our Christmas today because we have a weekend full of plans. I made a huge ham dinner and we played games… it’s been a very valuable day for sure! Psalms 36:7 God, Your faithful love is so valuable that people take refuge in the shadow of Your wings. ORNAMENT ~ Picture Color ~ Indigo ~ 357:365PictureToday:2021
I miss my grandparents so much this time of year. They were my favorite people on the planet. I love seeing some of my grandma’s favorite ornaments on my tree each year. Keeps them close for sure! She loved hummingbirds. Proverbs 25:12 A wise correction to a receptive ear is like a gold ring or an ornament of gold. BELIEVE ~ Picture Color ~ Indigo ~ 356:365PictureToday:2021
My boys surprised me with ornaments they made in school. Both of them decided to showcase their huge accomplishment of earning their black belts this year. Some days it’s a struggle to get there and participate in the grueling curriculum but they both believed they could be successful and they are! I am so proud of them and SO happy to have these added to our tree! How lucky to have a bit of indigo in Gavin’s ornament and lucky to have my believe word displayed too. Mark 11:24 Therefore I tell you, all the things you pray and ask for — believe that you have received them, and you will have them. |
Danette BadgerThis is the 7th year I have participated with a 365 photography challenge! In 2015 I didn't follow a 365 project, unfortunately. So, from 1/1/14 to 12/31/20 I have taken 2,483 daily photos (beside my own personal photos) and plan to add another 365 for this year! Starting 1/1/21 I am officially part of the 365 Picture Today Team which means that I will be responsible for writing some of the prompts that are delivered daily to our community and also some blogging pieces and features of some of our community members. It's so neat to see how differently a person perceives a simple word or concept and how it's translated into a photograph. I enjoy this challenge and community very much and I am looking forward to seeing what 2021 brings! Join us @ 365picturetoday.com Archives
