Day Thirty-Five:
Nine years ago I brought into this world twin boys who turned our pretty laid back life into a pretty hectic one. A hectic life that I wouldn't trade for the world! I loved that today's idea was Rocky - this is just a SMALL amount of their collection of rocks. We are a fan of agates and grandpa even has a rock tumbler which produces some beautiful treasures. They were more than willing to take some time with me before school to get this quick shot. The favorites for the collection are the smooth ones, the "diamond" ones, and ones that look like things (like the little heart on its own there). I've stepped on many a jagged one when they are lost in the carpet and my vacuum has also picked up its fair share as well. I even find these little treasures in my pockets. These things make me smile.

This is the second time I have taken on this challenge. I completed a 365 in 2014 - took 2015 off and decided that this year I wanted to do another challenge. I am part of an amazing group of talented photographers who post an image from an interpretation of a prompt that we receive every day in our e-mail. It's so neat to see how differently a person perceives a simple word or concept and how they translate that into a photograph. I am kicking myself that I didn't do a challenge in 2015 so this is me getting back into doing something I enjoy so very much! Archives
