Day Two Hundred Seventy Three:
Left Behind | Remain | Find | Notice As mundane as this photo is ~ I wanted to capture it. Each day, once I get that last hug from each of my babies as I send them out the door to wait for the bus, I come back inside to a messy kitchen table.. The remains from breakfast! Some days I grumble and groan as I clean up because I had asked them to clean up after themselves several times... And then, days like today, I remind myself that one day I won't have this and I know I'll miss it. The mundane ~ the busyness ~ the repeated requests ~ the messes left behind for mommy to pick up... The days that pile up and before I know it they are another year older and closer to leaving our home. These are the days I need to notice. These are the days that are going by way too fast!

This is the second time I have taken on this challenge. I completed a 365 in 2014 - took 2015 off and decided that this year I wanted to do another challenge. I am part of an amazing group of talented photographers who post an image from an interpretation of a prompt that we receive every day in our e-mail. It's so neat to see how differently a person perceives a simple word or concept and how they translate that into a photograph. I am kicking myself that I didn't do a challenge in 2015 so this is me getting back into doing something I enjoy so very much! Archives
