Day One Hundred Thirty Three: Distressed | Worn | Old | Texture
No matter how distressed this wagon is or how old it looks, my kids insist on keeping it. I love the character of it ~ each rusty spot. My father-in-law gave this to me from buried deep in his garage when I started looking for different props to use in child photos a few years ago. I found that I don't like using a lot of props for my photos so my kids inherited this old wagon. It has that GOOD QUALITY craftsmanship that will hold for many more years I imagine. All three of my kids can be seen pulling each other on this. My daughter was a happy subject today as long as she got a ride.

This is the second time I have taken on this challenge. I completed a 365 in 2014 - took 2015 off and decided that this year I wanted to do another challenge. I am part of an amazing group of talented photographers who post an image from an interpretation of a prompt that we receive every day in our e-mail. It's so neat to see how differently a person perceives a simple word or concept and how they translate that into a photograph. I am kicking myself that I didn't do a challenge in 2015 so this is me getting back into doing something I enjoy so very much! Archives
