Day Three Hundred Fifty Eight: Before and After | SOOC | Edited | Filters
This squirrel gave us lots of entertainment today. We had fun watching him and his friend out our windows chasing each other and wrestling - it's amazing how they don't fall out of trees! I do like editing my photos. I have always been fascinated with all the hard work that was put into images in darkrooms when photographers worked with film. I am not in the generation that worked with many film cameras (and even when I did, I would just drop them off and someone else would print them for me). I would love to learn darkroom processing but I do know I am pretty lucky with this digital age for many reasons - one big one is how easy it is to delete the bad, retake the good, and edit a photo into a work of art. It's a fun time to be a photographer in any form of the word!

This is the second time I have taken on this challenge. I completed a 365 in 2014 - took 2015 off and decided that this year I wanted to do another challenge. I am part of an amazing group of talented photographers who post an image from an interpretation of a prompt that we receive every day in our e-mail. It's so neat to see how differently a person perceives a simple word or concept and how they translate that into a photograph. I am kicking myself that I didn't do a challenge in 2015 so this is me getting back into doing something I enjoy so very much! Archives
