Day Three Hundred Fifty Six: Parts | Portion | Section | Incomplete
One Thing, Many Views Today has been such a weird weather day... We have had sun, rain, heavy snow, light snow, clouds, wind... And each part of the weather has happened one at a time (right now it's windy)... I LOVE being able to sit at my desk and watch it through my window. When we were getting that heavy, slow snow fall, I jumped up and took a quick shot through my window. Then I ran outside to get some close ups of the pretty big puffs of snow that the pine needles were catching. I realized this was a perfect opportunity for today's prompt. How pretty these snowflakes look as they are floating down and how pretty these snowflakes look as they pile up. The snow that was caught by these branches has already disappeared. Like I said, it's been a weird weather day!

Day Three Hundred Forty Eight:
Direction | Guide | Point the Way | Route This is by far my FAVORITE tradition of Christmas at my home. This book is called Jingle's Countdown To Christmas and has an ornament for each day in December counting down the days. It's so perfect for us because there are three ornaments per page (one for each baby) and every morning they immediately open the book, grab their ornament, read the fun poem that's hidden behind, and then put the ornament on the branches of our tree. It's the perfect guide for my babies as they countdown to Christmas! Day Three Hundred Forty Seven: Treat | Indulge | Gift | Delicacy
Oh what I do for photos! This is a homemade bird treat using some pretty cranberry colored fabric which I spread with peanut butter and dipped with oats and dried strawberries. I hung this in a tree right outside my office window so I could enjoy watching the birds enjoy their treat. The part about doing anything for a photo is that this is about 20 feet in the air! I first tried to hang myself outside my office window to reach those branches but I had no luck. Then I went outside (without a jacket in this 2 degree weather), grabbed our wheeler, moved underneath the tree and stood on the wheeler to hang this up quick. THEN, it started snowing like crazy so I think all the birds that I was watching all morning decided to take a warm nap in their nests so I never got an opportunity to see if those little birds would enjoy this little gift. Maybe tomorrow... |

This is the second time I have taken on this challenge. I completed a 365 in 2014 - took 2015 off and decided that this year I wanted to do another challenge. I am part of an amazing group of talented photographers who post an image from an interpretation of a prompt that we receive every day in our e-mail. It's so neat to see how differently a person perceives a simple word or concept and how they translate that into a photograph. I am kicking myself that I didn't do a challenge in 2015 so this is me getting back into doing something I enjoy so very much! Archives
