Day 33/365: These are the luckiest people I know: my twin boys. And I think the reason I think that over most is because I have watched these two grow together. I have seen them look at each other as babies and giggle after a conversation in their own language. I have witnessed the care and concern of brothers when the other is hurting. I have seen the pride and joy they have for each other when the other succeeds in something. I have been there to see how they constantly gravitate toward each other. They find each other at all times of the day either to just sit together or to play together. There is such a different dynamic to this twin thing and I am beyond blessed to watch this. I can imagine that they look at each other and don't see a mirror image - they see their best friend. They see that automatic playmate. That automatic partner in crime. And knowing that they have this through life - well, that makes me so unbelievably happy. And no matter how different they look to me, their daddy, each other, or anyone else who knows them well enough to tell them apart, they are a perfect match. And they do match. They are each other's other half. This twin thing is pretty special. I am proud to be a mother of twins. They are totally and completely cool little people. And, again, they are the luckiest people I know. Best friends from the moment of birth where minutes separate the time of their first breath... It leaves me breathless.

I have taken on a challenge to take one photo a day for this entire year. I have been excited to join up with an amazing community of talented photographers who have also taken on this challenge. The goals I have for myself this year is to, first of all, complete the whole year of 365 photos. I also want to allow this challenge to teach me all I can about the equipment I have in order to better myself as a photographer. I am excited to learn and experience so much this year through this challenge. Thank you for taking the time to look through my journey. It truly means a lot to me. Archives
