Day 60/365: Get more comfortable with yourself. Be more of who you are instead of who someone else wants you to be. Be comfortable in your own skin - be confident with your own thoughts. Be honest and trustworthy. If it feels wrong, don't do it. Say EXACTLY what you mean. Don't be a people pleaser. Trust your instincts. Never speak badly about yourself. Never give up on your dreams. Don't be afraid to say no. Don't be afraid to say yes. Be kind to yourself. Let go of what you can't control. Stay away from drama and negativity. Be grateful for early wakeups (children to love), a house to clean (a safe place to live), laundry (clothes to wear), crumbs on the table (family meals), lots of noise (kids are having fun), endless questions (children are learning and growing), and at the end of the day - when getting into bed tired and sore - be grateful to be alive. Make peace with your past, open the door to the future, take a deep breath, step on through and start a new chapter. What others think of you is none of your business. No one is the reason for your own happiness. Don't compare your life with others' lives. Stop thinking too much. Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.
Focus on what's important, capture the good times, develop from the negatives, and if things don't work out, take another shot.
