Day 324/365: This is very much a candid shot of me and my dog, Fujisu (Fuji). We were sitting in my daughter's room and she was getting awfully playful so I thought I would try and see if she would howl with me. She did and it provided a very cute candid. :) We are both howling here and I was struggling not to smile while trying to snap the photo!

Day 323/365: I am very thankful for my four lenses! However, just last night, when I went to the local photography club, I was seeking out advice on others' favorite lenses so I can simplify a bit... It is so cumbersome to carry all four lenses around, but I have found that sometimes I need to use all 4 during the day. It makes for a very heavy camera bag! Here is an additional photo as an after thought today:
I was out shoveling off the small layer of newly fallen fluffy snow off our back deck and it dawned on me that this is the 4th winter at our home! Day 320/365: With three munchkins slurping their favorite meal, I couldn't decide on using just one image. So, these are my three eating tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches. :) It's a favorite for us especially on these horribly cold days!
Day 318/365: my family and I went to a local hotel that allows public to use their swimming facilities for a small fee. We enjoyed the pool all to ourselves for two whole hours! Even though my babies were being noisy, I was still able to enjoy the hottub with my hubby and really relax! It was a bit of heaven tonight! Day 317/365: I have yearly scrapbooks made starting from 2004. My kids love to look at them! Today, my daughter wanted to look at "when I was a baby." So we pulled out year 2010 and she flipped through. When we got to the part of me pregnant with her, she was asking all these silly questions: "That's me in your fat belly?" And my favorite question: "You ate me?" This made me giggle so hard. I love their idea of how all that stuff works. (No baby girl, mommy did not eat you, you grew in my [fat] belly)!
Day 316/365: I have said this SO many times but the thought never leaves my head... My boys are the luckiest people I know. They are twins and the bond they share is beyond anything I could have imagined any sort of sibling could share. I asked them to help me with this prompt today and they thought it would be cool to do a pinky promise. Then they told me that boys don't do pinky promises, they shake hands to seal a promise. I loved their thoughts and when asking about the final image, they liked this one the best, so this is the one I am using.
Day 315/365: This is a small display of our make-believe superheroes to honor our REAL heroes who have fought, died, and protected our freedom! Thank you to our Veterans! The U.S.A. owes you all so much!

I have taken on a challenge to take one photo a day for this entire year. I have been excited to join up with an amazing community of talented photographers who have also taken on this challenge. The goals I have for myself this year is to, first of all, complete the whole year of 365 photos. I also want to allow this challenge to teach me all I can about the equipment I have in order to better myself as a photographer. I am excited to learn and experience so much this year through this challenge. Thank you for taking the time to look through my journey. It truly means a lot to me. Archives
