Day 110/365: Our gathering from our Easter festivities included this quick group shot. I was able to capture it right as everyone was getting ready to leave after a wonderfully full and fun day. There was good food, good laughs, some baseball, and some bike riding. This all followed a wonderful morning at church where we were reminded what this day truly means ~ a man loved us enough to pay the ultimate sacrifice for our salvation. We are such blessed people. It's not a perfect image by any means but I absolutely love everyone in this photo and I am happy to have captured us all together on this wonderful Easter day.

Day 105/365: My daughter loves bath time! In fact, some days she begs for it! She loves to just sit in the water and relax. I peaked in on her today while she was humming a song and found her lying there so peacefully. I know how relaxed and rested I feel after a hot bath - she doesn't have to explain to me why she loves them so.
Genesis 1:20-25
New International Version (NIV) 20 And God said, “Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the vault of the sky. 21 So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living thing with which the water teems and that moves about in it, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 22 God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the water in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth. 23 And there was evening, and there was morning, the fifth day. 24 And God said, “Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: the livestock, the creatures that move along the ground, and the wild animals, each according to its kind.” And it was so. 25 God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. Day 103/365: This is the weirdest thing ever! This is how our ice freezes. It doesn't do this when the water is out of our tap. This is water that comes out of our water cooler that we use for drinking... We have no idea why this happens but my hubby says he doesn't mind because they make handy handles when he is getting a cube out of the tray. It's a silly idea but we get a chuckle every time we reach for a cube of ice.

I have taken on a challenge to take one photo a day for this entire year. I have been excited to join up with an amazing community of talented photographers who have also taken on this challenge. The goals I have for myself this year is to, first of all, complete the whole year of 365 photos. I also want to allow this challenge to teach me all I can about the equipment I have in order to better myself as a photographer. I am excited to learn and experience so much this year through this challenge. Thank you for taking the time to look through my journey. It truly means a lot to me. Archives
