30/365 ~ Bare Trees | Exposed | Desolate | Fog
We were blessed with a morning snow shower. I enjoyed standing outside watching my babies play in the fresh snow, catching snowflakes on their tongues, while I stood taking photos here and there. The bare trees got a new white blanket this morning and I am happy that I was able to capture it. 29/365 ~ Contrast | Opposite | Different | Compare
Twins... these two contrast each other so much! One is bright ands upper outgoing. One is more subdued and much more shy. One doesn't mind being the center of attention and being silly and the other hates being the center of attention and is only silly with people he is comfortable with and even those occasions are few and far between. Even though they are so different it's difficult not to compare them and I get a lot of questions about them. The only thing they share is a birthday ~ everything else about them is as unique and special and as individual as they are. In 6 short days they will turn 10 years old and even just thinking of that brings tears to my eyes. It goes too fast! 27/365 ~ Dried Flowers | Gossamer | Light | Delicate
A lucky subject today were the dried roses still in their vase that my daughter got from her dance show a couple weeks ago. Roses are my favorite! I love how the light on this!

My prayer journal is a necessity in my life... I have the hardest time focusing when I pray so by writing them down, it forces me to complete a thought and my conversations with God are much more meaningful! This journal is not neat and perfect ~ in fact, it's crazy messy and I write things in blurbs here and there so when I find a nice open space for a new prayer ~ it makes me very happy! 23/365 ~ Action | Stopped | In The Air | Fast
I knew I would have an opportunity at Tae Kwon Do to get some action shots. They worked more on their patterns tonight (I was hoping for kicks) but capturing them work on their patterns and seeing how focused they were makes me happy! Here, they were told to have their eyes shut as they went through the pattern to see if the whole group ends up at the same stopping point. This part always leaves someone surprised when they are facing the wrong direction at the end! 22/365 ~ Explore | Outside | Discovered | Adventure
It's always such a blessing to find color during the long and dreary winter days. |

This is my THIRD challenge! I completed an entire 365 in 2014 - then in 2015, I tried to do something different and failed miserably so I was excited to take the challenge back on for 2016 and I successfully completed last year too! I am part of an amazing group of talented photographers who post an image from an interpretation of a prompt that we receive every day in our e-mail. It's so neat to see how differently a person perceives a simple word or concept and how they translate that into a photograph. I enjoy this challenge very much and I am looking forward to seeing what 2017 brings! You can view my past projects by clicking the links below for each year. Archives
