Day One Hundred Thirty Two: Can't Live Without | Need | Important | Necessary
It goes without saying that the most important things in my life that I can't live without is the presence of God first and foremost, my husband, my children, and all of our family and friends. One other thing that came to mind today was books. Where would we be without books? Not only are they used to teach us history and facts, but they are also important to bring us to worlds unknown and they allow our imaginations to soar. However, when I was taking a photo of a book ~ I noticed those little scratches on my hand from a play fight with my cat. And just like that ~ my subject and my focus changed because I CANNOT live without my hands! Hands that have such a story to tell with all they do, all they have felt, all they have held. Yeah, I can't live without my hands.

This is the second time I have taken on this challenge. I completed a 365 in 2014 - took 2015 off and decided that this year I wanted to do another challenge. I am part of an amazing group of talented photographers who post an image from an interpretation of a prompt that we receive every day in our e-mail. It's so neat to see how differently a person perceives a simple word or concept and how they translate that into a photograph. I am kicking myself that I didn't do a challenge in 2015 so this is me getting back into doing something I enjoy so very much! Archives
