Day Two Hundred Eighty Nine: A Treat | Candy | Morsel | Sweet
It's coming to the end of Minnesota's season for sweet corn. There are no more farmers setting up their booths on the side of the roads selling their crops and we do miss those yummy morsels all through the winter - canned corn just isn't the same as the fresh stuff off the cob! We went to a corn maze today and the only stalks left are going to be treats for the deer. This little one stood out quite a bit to me and my son Blake as we were walking through and I loved how yellow and orange it is. I did NO editing to this color! Gorgeous huh?? :)

This is the second time I have taken on this challenge. I completed a 365 in 2014 - took 2015 off and decided that this year I wanted to do another challenge. I am part of an amazing group of talented photographers who post an image from an interpretation of a prompt that we receive every day in our e-mail. It's so neat to see how differently a person perceives a simple word or concept and how they translate that into a photograph. I am kicking myself that I didn't do a challenge in 2015 so this is me getting back into doing something I enjoy so very much! Archives
