Day 113/365: Things I consider peaceful: Any time after I pray. Cuddling with my husband. My children sleeping. My children laughing. My children's hugs. Having my chores done. Writing down things that bother me, crumpling up the paper, and throwing it away. Looking at my scrapbooks and remembering all the details of days long gone. Yoga. Reflecting. Bird watching. Taking a walk. Taking a long, hot bath. Lighting candles. Reading a good book. Listening to the rain and watching as it drips off the ledge of my home. I could go on and on but I realized how long my list was getting already. Ultimately, I believe that a sense of peace is available to us all - we just have to find what gets us to that place and utilize it.
