Day 313/365: My husband has been away hunting and my munchkins and I decided on a spur of the moment road trip after church to go see him. It's a 2 hour drive from our home. We made it up there just in time for a short visit before the guys went to the stands for the afternoon hunt. Because of our spur of the moment decision, we weren't prepared for the snow covered ground and didn't have our winter boots (it snowed where my husband was but there was no snow at our house). This photo was taken while we attempted to go to daddy and grandpa's stand where I was hoping to get a perfect "perspective" photo, but without boots, little toes got too cold too fast. Regardless, this was perfect for me today. Sometimes the best perspective we get is exactly the way we see things - standing view with our favorite things right in front of us. I have been missing my husband and it was well worth the long ride in the truck to take a short visit to see him!
