Day 304/365: It is a tradition each year to go to great-grandma's house for Halloween. We have a pizza party with all our cousins and family and then we all get ready to go Trick-or-Treating. It was a chilly evening but we did our regular route which includes stopping in front of this awesome display. The man who sets this up each year is so creative and he sure does put out a spooky display!

Day 303/365: "...But the Raven, sitting lonely on the placid bust, spoke only that one word, as if his soul in that one word he did outpour. Nothing farther then he uttered - not a feather then he fluttered - 'til I scarcely more than muttered "other friends have flown before - on the morrow he will leave me, as my hopes have flown before." Then the bird said, "Nevermore..."
Day 302/365: Two ghosts floating about in our yard this morning...
(I couldn't spend as much time on this as I would have liked because we had to get to school, but with two volunteers all ready and excited about becoming ghosts, I just had to let them play)
Day 298/365: It's not hard to ask my kids to help me out on days where the prompt asks me to have them dress up! They had so much fun posing for me. I didn't need to do much but sit and snap some photos. Blake is a Legendary White Power Ranger, Evette is a beautiful Flower Fairy, and Gavin is a Legendary Red Power Ranger.
Day 295/365: When you live down a bumpy dirt road, you don't really want to go any faster than 20 miles per hour.

I have taken on a challenge to take one photo a day for this entire year. I have been excited to join up with an amazing community of talented photographers who have also taken on this challenge. The goals I have for myself this year is to, first of all, complete the whole year of 365 photos. I also want to allow this challenge to teach me all I can about the equipment I have in order to better myself as a photographer. I am excited to learn and experience so much this year through this challenge. Thank you for taking the time to look through my journey. It truly means a lot to me. Archives
